Gortat and Tucker for Kendrick Perkins, Jeremy Lamb, 1st rounder....

Honestly I think I am fine with this deal simply because it will make us much worse this year, hence a higher pick. We do not need to be beating portland at their house. Kendrick will be gone, Lamb could be decent and a first rounder we could package with the other late 1sts we have to possibly move up....Thoughts?

I like the trade and would be in love with it if they would give us the Toronto pick.

Well, if it involves the Toronto pick I'd be interested but I'd hate to give up Tucker unless he was pivotal to the deal. Secondly, AFAIC, this is not the draft to give away picks to move up. I don't see a sure bet superstar in this draft.

OKC would be getting the best 2 players in Trade... the Toronto Pick may not even be a Lottery Pick the way Raptors are playing with Rudy Gay.

http://thunderousintentions.com/201...ing-kendricks-perkins-deal-with-phoenix-suns/

I was wondering where this thread was coming from until I was on another site and saw documentation.

Gortat>Perkins
Tucker vs Lamb, hmm, thats a tough one. I think I like Tucker, but Lamb has potential
Pick, well that all depends on the pick and the conditions.

I would hope for better return on Gortat.

Quote from a Thunder message board regarding Perkins:

"I pray to GOD every night that Perkins is off my team. I dont even care who we get in return"

Got a feeling that people here will be feeling about Perkins like they to about Shannon Brown.

I don't like it. Only because it seems like you could get something a lot better for Gortat. And throwing in Tucker seems like a bad idea. Plus, doesn't Perkins have a pretty crappy contract?

The restrictions on the Tor pick make it very likely to be a lottery pick even if it's not acquired this season, though it's more likely the Raptors finish 9th-10th in the East and give the pick this year.

I cant see OKC having an interest in Gortat right now. They're playing really well, Perkins despit his lack of statistical production is one of the leaders on that team AND he and the rest of the Thunder front court have brutalized Gortat.

That clown hardly gets anything right. Instead of the pick I would ask OKC to throw in Perry Jones III, he's blocked by Ibaka & Durant. If the Suns were able to get PJIII & Lamb for Gortat it would make Gambododo right.

Actually, he gets everything right regarding the Suns, but the other sports not so much. He's been so accurate that many suggest that his source is actually Sarver.

they've been playing good all year. but they got handled by Thunder a little bit ago and lost to the rockets tonight.

i think they would benefit from removing perkins and adding gortat.
