1. McCoy and Holcomb relatively had good games since Seahawks are a mediocre team

2.Play calling on offense before taking the lead and after losing lead were good. Likely this means Wilks was calling the shots on playing conservatively with lead.

3. Run defense is poor and will hurt this team going forward.

4. Bucannon does not fit this scheme at all.

5. 90 has been doing OK. I believed that he was a bust.

6. Coaches have to get Patrick Peterson or Brandon Williams on offense for couple of plays to run the go routes and get a chunk play. Remember Palmer throwing to CB Teddy Williams in 2013 to get a big chunk play.

8. The execution of screen play was so good. That was like a dream and you don't want to ever end.

9. Chad Williams gets little separation.

10. Larry has earned the right to drop a pass or two. Hope he times it better for his rookie QB sake next time.

11. You know this team is talented on defense when the likes of Ray Horton to AL Holcomb can get some results without great variation. Todd Bowles took it to another level.

12. This OL is poor on certain plays and above average on others. Tough to grade them positive though overall.

13. Phil Dawson is hurting this team. Once an aberration. Twice a pattern.... Just cut him

14. Do you even know who plays at Center on this offense? Let's give the man Cole some credit.

15. No one cares if Andre Smith plays at RT or not. Wetzel has been that good just as replacement to Andre Smith.

16. Chandler Jones can help a little more.

17. Wilks is not for long in this not for long league. What Wilks is doing is actively under mining this team with poor in game situational handling.

18. Why Keim didn't sign Dan Bailey to a two year contract is beyond me before the season. It's not like Phil Dawson is Cardinals Vinitaerri

19. Keim will not get fired if Rosen shows flashes to be QBOTF.

20. It is fair to send some kudos to McCoy and Leftwich for making Rosen look good on his debut.

20. I am concerned with Rosen's play and attitude. .... Didn't want to Jinx it.....

Rosen looked confident but he was sailing passes like Stanton. Hope this gets worked out.

The drops have to stop. Rosen played well enough to win. He wasn't a world beater but he isn't the reason why this team lost. Whoever was responsible for the final offensive sequence needs to be fired be it McCoy or Wilks. I thought the offensive line played well. The final TD Rosen had all day to throw which is what any QB needs. Give anyone time and eventually they'll find someone open. Can't fault them too much on rushing when the other team stacks 10 in the box and the coach is too stupid to have an audible play. That whole think reminded me of the Monday Night Meltdown when Green kept on slamming Edge into the line over and over again. That stragedy didn't work out too well then either.

This team is wasting too many first downs.
Too many times the o is facing third and long.
I would like to see that changed going forward.:)

Rosen looked very good. McCoy should be able to expand the offense every week to where Rosen has the whole play book down by the end of the season.

We must’ve been watching 2 different games! The guy should’ve been 20-27 for nearly 300 yards.

Rosen was money today.

I thought Rosen up till the 4th qtr was playing like a rookie which I expected. His stats were not very good but then he showed me something in the 4th. He was composed especially when he dropped the snap and had the smarts to run out of the box and throw the ball away instead of panicking and taking a sack. Most of his passes during the last drive were on target and some left me in amazement as to how he did it. He was just hampered by the conservative play calling after the 4 minute mark which I blame McCoy and Wilkes for. I think the future is bright for him and the Cardinals.

His stats didn't look good because of all the drops (detail as discussed by another poster).

I could be wrong but thought the snap bounced to him? Either way - he was very composed.

Not sure how Rosen could have done much better in his first start. Didn't get much help with all of the drops. I saw very little that resembled a rookie in his first start. Don't like a lot of things with this team but Rosen has me very excited.

The staff stole the spotlight from what should have been a shining moment for Rosen. When a team gets in a position to win a game with a first down they should go for the win. When Rosen handed the ball to D.J. he could have rolled out and there wouldn’t have been s defensive player within 10 yards of him.

That's a good post bro.

Agree that Ndkemchie (lol at my spelling) is showing some signs. Which is really great to see. Sure helps Kiem.. :)

The team definitely played better yesterday, led by Rosen. DJ, I thought, had a pretty decent game too. 112 yards from scrimmage. Fumble was tough, but you have to live with a few of those from your RB. Didn't really like his execution on the last 3rd and 6 run either.. oh well... he's showing signs of coming out of his doldrums too..

You mentioned the screen play... oh baby.. that was so good... maybe the best screen play ever executed by the Cardinals? Certainly in the top three all time.. I remember one with emmitt smith that went for close to 30 yards too...

100% agree!

Need more screens, jet sweeps, boot legs, play action, etc.

I have to say that I generally agree with this. That is, there's too much that can go wrong when you play for a FG to win a game (bad snap, block, kicker sucks, etc).

OU did the exact same thing against Army a couple of weeks ago, and the OU kicker shanked a 33 yarder to send the game into OT. It was awful.

I mean, I can kind of understand the "playing it safe" strategy, and the "trusting your kicker" strategy. That approach, in and of itself, is not the "stupidest coaching move ever".

And, DJ is not exactly Rob Moore, or, Leeland "Electric" McEllroy back there. He's not a bad option on 1st and 10 in that situation, or even 2nd and eight. But third and six? Pretty questionable.

And everybody who says Rosen was executing the offense very well is correct. Sure would have like to have seen the rookie get a chance to make a play on that last third down.

My $.02 about a bootleg would be that it has a high probability of Rosen going out of bounds rather than taking a hit and stopping the clock.

He's completely hit or miss. I think Ok is the best you could call him, but he could improve.

He either gets penetration and disrupts the play, or he gets pancaked. He really is not very good against the run overall.

I agree drops were a big problem. And the snap did bounce to him but he did not panic which I was impressed by since he is a rookie.

Dead freaking on!

He’s improved, but an average player.

Let's see him repeat it now that there's more film. He was definitely throwing high like Stanton or Leinart, even though they were catchable balls.

I remember when Rich Gannon strolled for a touchdown on 4th and about a foot back in the Buddy Ryan days. Everyone jumped the running back and Gannon could have walked the whole way.

Nah when you are top 5 in QB pressures and have 2 sacks and made other disruptive plays you’re better then OK.... But to each their own.
