we just get safeties from NYJ? Something tells me he wont be as nice a surprise as Rhodes was.

IMO,the loss of Kerry is the biggest thing to effect this D this year. He was a stud. Top 3 FS in the league. He was worth every penny of his paycheck. Should have kept him.

Agreed. There must be more to it, IMO. Originally I thought maybe it due to his sexual preference, but that obviously isn't the case because of the Mendenhall signing - although maybe 2 gay men on a team would together would be deemed a distraction for the team?

Who knows? Just seems like there is more to the whole Rhodes thing. He had a reasonable contract. Not sure it was all about $, I don't think we ever even approached him about reducing his salary. I could be wrong, don't remember.

That seems to be what he is suggesting but I haven't even heard the slightest of rumors about it. After his "planes can't bring down skyscrapers" comment I'm pretty sure anything that qualified as gossip would have circulated quickly about this guy.

Yeah. A quick google search turned up nothing at all. Just seemed like a weird thing to throw out there for no reason.

I think someone tweeter something about AZ having a bunch of fruits on their roster, or some type of derogatory comment like that. Marcus Vick maybe?

Rashard drew a lot of attention his way when he tweeted something about the 9/11 incident and then later added to the controversy by stating that he didn't believe the towers were really brought down by an airplane. It made him a magnet for the media so when you suggested he was gay, I just found it unlikely that this could be true without rumors running rampant. And yes, it was Marcus Vick that made comments about gays on the Cards.
