Sarver: Dan we would like you to coach the team.

Majerle: Holla, What does it pay?

Sarver: About $35,000 per year.

Majerle: Holla, but you're already paying me $600K!

Sarver: Yeah but Leander wants the max, I can't afford lose him, he is the only friend I have.

Majerle: See you next Tuesday Bob.

Well Sarver hired a white, 3 point shooting specialist turned TV announcer with no actual experience or qualifications to GM, so I suppose he could do it again.

Change your wording a bit and that could apply to Eddie Johnson as well.

Majerle would have to roll off his chick de jour in order to coach.

I don't know how much Majerle makes but I can assure you it's quite a bit less than $600K. In fact I'd be willing to bet it's less than $100K. The only Suns broadcaster who makes six figures is Al McCoy.

I could imagine Dan having an informal way of subbing guys in the lineup. During games Dan would just look at the bench and say "who wants to get in there...just...HALLA".

3TV is reporting that Majerle has announced he is NOT interested in the Head Coach position, but would greatly consider an assistant coaching role in some form.

Eddie Johnson has said he would definitely consider the head coach position if offered.

I'm sure he could teach our guys some fundamentals, like footwork :

Since seeing this footage last year, I've kept my eye out for travels like this, when guys are at the top of the key looking to pass. You'd be surprised how often this travel happens. I see it in just about every game; most aren't as bad as this one, but others are on occasion.
