jesus, are we really gonna be the only team to choke against the choking dogs down in Dallas? They were up 14, now down 3 in the fourth to Utah.
Well I think we were the only contending team to lose twice to the Timberwolves...

With this den v gsw game, I think I will be more disappointed by the loser than impressed by the winner, lots of dumb and questionable plays on both sides of the court.

Mavs up 90-89 with 42.9 seconds left in 4th quarter. Mavs ball.

Warriors down 105-112 with 57.6 seconds left in 4th quarter. Nuggets ball.

Warriors lose 114-105.

Mavs up 92-91 with 11.5 seconds left in 4th quarter. Mavs ball. Mavs use last timeout as Kidd unable to inbound ball.

Denver went into Oakland, in front of a record crowd with the playoffs on the line, and won. That's impressive to me.

Mavs up 94-91 with 9.4 seconds left as Terry hits both free throws. Jazz ball and timeout.

Williams with a 3 with 5.8 seconds left to tie the game and then Dirk with a 3 to put the Mavs up 97-94 with .9 seconds left in the 4th. Jazz timeout.

agreed. I actually won't be surprised if Denver gives NO a run for their money in the first round if that's the 1 v. 8 matchup. They may not beat them, but I think it'll be a good series.

WOW, what a finish in Dallas! HUGE 3 by Dirk after Williams tied it with a bank prayer!

Wow that was weird, I was rooting big time for dallas. Thank you dirk!

But then the second I saw cuban stroll on the court I was upset they won even though it helped us :)

Meanwhile I don't envy anyone who's got to face a #7 seeded Dallas team. I may call them choking dogs, but they seem to be coming together at the right time and they've been there before. Being underdogs also takes all the pressure off a team that hasn't dealt with pressure well the last two years.

I actually saw the gs/denver game the other way. To me it was about how terrible g.s. looked, specifically vs. a simple zone defense, vs. how good denver was.

Denver got murdered in the first and basically said what the hell we can't play defense let's go to zone, as summarized by chuck and kenny. And g.s. proceeded to play 3 qtrs of incredibly stupid ball just jacking up one horrible shot after another. They sure could of used Jason Richardson.

That is definately something to consider. Personally, I'm still not sold on Dallas, I'm hoping my Lakers get them in the 1st round, either a 1 vs. 8 Match or a 2 vs. 7 match. I seriously doubt Dallas ability to make it out of the 1st round.

Ok, are we rooting for or against lakers tonight? If they lose there is a chance we slide too far up to 2...

Also, in the short spurts i saw, Okur was sucking it up quite well.

Apparently, we already had control over that since SA and Utah still have to play each other, but the Utah loss makes things easier.

steven Jackson just sucked. Monta was very good but jackson was terrible, heaving terrible shots(5-17). Denver didnt look that good to me. Jackson was running the offense a good part of the critical part of the game and did not go to the hot hand enough(his hand surely wasnt hot). The warriors need to learn that monta ellis(13-26) is a better player than jackson aND needs the ball more to create for others. i GUESS THE WARRIORS LIVE AND DIE WITH JACKSON AND THEY DIED TONIGHT.

you know what I find strange? As Suns fans, having seen our team give up Dirk's biggest game of all time (50 points) in the playoffs, while being the roadkill on his way to the Finals and having witnessed him take over games against us (Sunday), the game winner against us last year years ago after the 15 game winning streak, etc, etc, I really don't get how our fans can label Dirk a "choker". Dude's definitely had his bad moments, but he's had just as many really big moments as well. Now, if it's him at the line or having to drive, sometimes I feel like the pressure will get to him, but if he gets an open look at the end of a game, there's very few others in the league who scare me like he does at that point.

couldn't of said it better. in game 3 of the finals dirk missed a FT that would of tied the game. in game 5 of the finals he actually hit some big shots in the 4th qtr and setup a dunk for dampier....that put the mavs up by one point. unfortunately the mavs got called for a foul on wade and he won the game at the line. of course he had a clutch game that knocked the spurs out that year as well. that game against phoenix was the swing game....and before dirk took over the mavs were losing by 7 pts.

be careful what you wish for. I personally would rather dallas draw the lakers than the suns in the first round at least. but it really doesn't matter who it is they are all almost equally tough. and I feel if dallas plays well they can beat anyone in the playoffs in the first round. didn't say will.....
