Apr. 19—BOX SCORE
At Fort Borst Park
BOBCATS 4, TIGERS 0
Aberdeen001 011 1 — 4
Centralia000 000 0 — 0
CEN Pitching — Wakefield 7 IP, 9 H, 4 R (3 ER). Highlights — Lynch 1-3; Sprague 1-3; Smith 1-3.
Just six batters reached base and some early chances didn't muster for the Centralia High School softball team in a 4-0 loss against Aberdeen on Friday night at Fort Borst Park.
In the bottom of the first, back-to-back singles gave the Tigers (4-5, 2-4 EvCo) early traffic against Grand Canyon recruit Lilly Camp. The Bobcats' right-hander retired the side to leave them stranded.
Then in the fourth, Centralia loaded the bases with one out down 1-0 and failed to tie the contest or take the lead. Adrianne Lynch, Brooklyn Sprague and McKenna Smith all finished 1-for-3 at the plate for the Tigers.
Centralia will face its second Division I pitcher in as many games when it takes on Tumwater on the road on Monday.
