My buddy Ken, who attended the game with us, said that his wife saw people in South Tucson selling them by the boatload. Could be fakes or overruns from the factory in china that made ours.

There's nothing on the website yet, but if and when it happens, a lot of those people spending $70 for a bracelet are gonna be kicking themselves.

Even if I were looking to spend nearly $70 for one of these bracelets, I wouldn't buy it from a seller like this one.

$5 for shipping? Hello...it's practically weightless!! :bang:

:hatesoutrageousshippingcharges:

I was thinking that, too. What a jerk.

How did he get it to Iowa so fast?

Airplane? :)

Maybe he's one of those idiots who lives in one part of the country but roots for a team, ie the Giants, totally on the other side of the US. You know those wacky crazies!!!

That's the oldest trick on eBay to pad the price you sell something for. I bought tickets on eBay once, and the shipper said that it was $15.00 for shipping (implying to me he was FedEx-ing them), and then they arrive in a Priority Mail envelope with $3.55 or $3.95 (I forget) postage right on the package.

There are people calling the water cooler on KDUS complaining about not getting one at the game because they ran out. Bill Lewis said HE couldn't get one. Rumors are that only 10,000 were available at the game. The Tillman Foundation is supposed to be selling them for a buck.

My personal story is, the entrance we usually go in, was out by the time we got there, so we went to the next entrance, and got one there, but they wouldn't give extra's. (sorry Jersey Girl & Cardinal Bob)

I guess my grandmother was at the game and I have an email in to see if she got one. I'd love to have one, and hope the PTF will begin selling them.

I noticed that "made in china" writing on the inside. :?

I hate seeing merchandise in the stores with a "patriotic theme" with a made in China tag.

That just ain't right!

I feel the same way.

I pay more to get stuff that actually says "Made in the USA" or "Made with pride in the USA."

And - we drive American too.

I didn't get one either-

but some drunk girl in a Giants jersey came up to me in the ladies room and flaunted hers because I was wearing his jersey, no class! My son and I were disappointed, but I'll try to buy one from the foundation. Do they have a web site?

I specifically asked for another one for this reason. During the Pats game some Pats fan was rude and acted like a hoe.. bigredjane, you want my extra? You go to the half time meet? Let me know.
