Phoenix is 45-31 with their win over the Cavaliers.

Afterward, the Suns play the Pelicans at home on Sunday and the Clippers on Tuesday.

timberwolves are playing for the 1 seed - for home court against denver - not only are they going to bring it - they know how to and on a crazy consistent basis - if the suns wanted a heat check it comes in the form of minnesota - a lot of questions will be answered tomorrow night

If they want the 6th seed this is a must win. If they want to prove to themselves they can compete with anyone in the west this is a must win.

Bottom line if this team is for real, this is a must win.

I really don't think that is happening. While Hawks and Warriors can beat them I would bet on the Mavs against either every time.

I think Suns best case scenerio is 6.

If Nurk is out, I'd be tempted to start Bol at the 5. Gobert isn't a huge offensive threat, and Bol will either draw Gobert out of the lane or we'll get open looks for Bol from outside.

Gobert is actually really good right under the basket, he can't score anywhere outside of the restricted area to save his life, but right under the hoop, he thrives.

If Bol could front Gobert and deny him looks, that might work, but our perimeter defense is terrible. I don't think our "bigs" will be in a situation to front very often.

We're going to have to shoot them out of the building.

I actually wish they had KAT for this matchup, he's a terrible rotational defender. They've been better since he got hurt.

Just need to get a win here tonight. Mavs are red freaking hot so I see them getting the tie breaker unless they go into a fall.

beating the timberwolves will require focus for all 4 quarters - no mental lapses - and solid production both offensively and defensively from our bench - it would require vogel to again break free from his useless but oh so precious rotation schedule - a lot of things would have to happen to get this win

They are guaranteed a top 10 seed. So the worse they can do is the play in game. Which starts in 10 or 12 days
