Comparing anyone to the worst ever is not a positive.
My biggest pet peeve is when the play by play guy just talks all over the color commentator. I really enjoy AMD, and unless I'm really high for the most part KRay is letting her speak her beautifulness.

At the timeout, the Suns lead by 9 with under 5 minutes to go in the game.

Not taking charge in that situation has been the Suns weakest point.

'Counting on them to hold it tonight.

Comparing anyone to the worst ever is not a positive.

Although he was in the Eddie Johnson role rather than play by play, George Raveling was far worse doing Pac 10 games than Steve Albert on his worst day while battling the flu, wearing a blindfold just hours after having all his teeth removed without anesthetic. But Albert was indeed awful.

Luxury to bring Baynes in at the 4 minutes mark and he promptly scores a close-in basket.

Unlike Eddie Johnson, she has been interrupting his ranting when she's been with him through the season.

I've seen him tighten it up a little bit with her over the months.

My own pet peeve is when Kevin refers to the arena as Talking Stick Resor Tarena.

Suns needed the win and they are going to get it. Suns up 121-102.

Wow

How many times have the Suns had winning garbage time in the last 5 years?

man... with Bridges putting up 5 straight very solid games off the bench, if Baynes can stay healthy and Ayton can make any kind of impact, this isn't just going to be a .500 team... it could be one that does some damage in a weakened Western Conference. That's a really deep team. Is it perfect? No. The PF spot is still weak, but with Ayton, that should give us a third shot creator for others, drawing double teams with Booker a solid playmaker and Rubio a very good one.

Very good bounce back and they have three more very winnable games with no back to backs thrown in there.

11-12 without Ayton. I don't think I've ever been as impressed/pleasantly surprised by a team below .500 in my life.

As you said, the color commentator is a different role.

He has to be brisk in his comments. And be knowledgeable,
but that is his (or her) only responsibility.

But the play-by-play announcer has the responsibility
of setting the timing, as well as doing promos. And,
of course, never losing sight of what is happening
on the court and keeping the audience apprised as
the play is going on -- play-by-play (to coin a phrase).

It would be wonderful if we could somehow parlay some combination among Tyler Johnson's expiring contract, one or two of our superfluous developmental point guards, either Sario or Kaminsky, and/or some draft capital for an upgrade at power forward.

And, with Baynes playing limited minutes to keep him healthy
and backing up Ayton, Monty can decide who and how to use
them to the Suns best advantage with the game on the line.

Those are the little things that turn a marginal team into a
real winner. Especially considering how many of our losses
have been in close games.

I am really happy with the way Mikal is starting to play.

the hitch seems to be gone, and his overall confidence seems much better.

how do the wolves have the same record as the suns, they seem vastly inferior to me.

I think we could get love for that, but I am not sold.

Dario is a lot younger, a lot cheaper and is playing 75 percent as well.

I think ayton will make the need to improve there much less important as I think he and Baynes will take some of the 4 minutes.
