Five empty points by Dunn at the end of the game, but I hope it helps his confidence.
Sometimes the mop up minutes help rookies out. I think a lot of it is rust. You can't not play a rookie for many games and think they will just pick up where they left off. It takes veterans years to learn how to do that.

I'm just stating the facts. Look at his recent stats. I like Gillespie for the future and he didn't score at all.

Devin Booker addressed the Suns situation about as good as any player can.

That's a bad question, at this point. "What's preventing everyone from being on the same page?"

I think we can all agree the makeup of this is fundamentally flawed. We don't need to get into "who is a bigger problem?" or "who needs to go?" or "who should stay?". The construction of this roster is trash. Too many wings, not enough athletes, not enough size, not enough physicality, and the list goes on. This isn't a new problem, it's beyond just this season. Now that the trade deadline has passed and we're now looking at the roster that will finish the season, what does anyone expect Booker to say? He can't really say anything that will help as the league won't grant a special trade window for us while also allowing us to ignore the CBA rules to make a deal. We're past the point of adding a minimum signing that turns the tide as well.

I'm glad Booker didn't give an answer that points to him being oblivious to the problems here but they're asking him how this can be fixed when it can't right now.

Exactly! Gillespie sitting the pine is not letting him get in a rhythm. We need to get him in the paint and passing out. He needs to get some layups. He should be able to score against the unit he was in against. These guys are almost basically starting all over from scratch again.

It is not just the roster, it is obviously (much) more.

Even with the limited athleticism that we have, the Suns still could provide (much) more hustle, defense and rebounding.

The chemistry is obviously shaky, the coaching team sometime either reacting slowly and/or clueless but part of the Suns struggles is that they simply did not take notice of the changed officiating in recent years. The refs allow more contact, most of the teams already adopted but the Suns still keep wondering why they are beaten defensively by literally anyone while on the other side of the floor they keep waiting for a whistle at every occasion when someone touches them.

It looks like a lot of the young players will be getting more playing time going forward. I'm all for that with the Suns apparently not going anywhere.

give up 40 thru turnovers and lose by 20 - we don't throw passes we throw jump balls - we don't pump fake or look off we stare down the receiver - we'll spend 4 or 5 seconds trying to make an ill advised pass allowing another defender to join in making it a moronic pass - but what really pisses me off are the hot potato passes - players get stuck - lose their dribble and just pawn the ball off to the next guy who's always covered by a defender that knows the ball is coming - over and over and over because nobody moves when one of the big three have the ball and they always have the ball

im about all the way out - don't remember the last time i didn't finish a suns season but this is garbage basketball

As soon as the run started in the 3rd, I turned it off. At this point, we all know what was coming next.

Too bad we couldn't trade the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards' favorite player of all time… Kevin Durant.
