While I can understand the disappointment in the loss to Seattle, (and the No.1 seed through the playoffs), I am having a hard time with those who are laying the blame on Bruce Arians for this loss. Arians is the person who brought us to this 11-3 record, and the chance to play Seattle for the No.1 seed. We still have 11 wins, and one more game to play. We could be 12-4 after the season ends. Even if we end up 11-5, how many of you would have said that Arians could manage that this year, even with a roster full of healthy players? The reason for the loss is simple. We did not have the horses to compete against Seattle last night. This was especially true at Quarterback, (only the most important position on the roster). I find it sad indeed that many posters are blaming Arians for this loss.

ON the bright side, (and there is one), Daryn Fells was superb, as he has not only learned to block, but he has become a real pass catching threat as well. Stepfan Taylor was masterful at picking up leaks through the line, and taking them out in their quest to sack Lindley. Alex Okafor had a really good game, and was constantly pressuring Wilson.

ON the poor side, Ted Ginn Jr. gave up field position on nearly every play he was involved in. He has shown that neither his heart, (nor his head), is into doing his job correctly, and this has been so nearly all season. He needs to be replaced this off season. Unfortunately, a normally solid Rashad Johnson, picked a bad time to have an off game, as he clearly got jobbed several times. That happens though, and this was the first game that he was really not up to the task.

Personally, I felt confident that Ryan Lindley might just have a decent outing. Sadly, this was not true, as he was all over the place with his throws. Granted, he did not get the help he 'could' have from his receivers, but even then, I don't believe that it would have been enough. He is simply not able to manage a quality roster against a really good team. With a healthy Stanton at the helm, I believe we would have been right there when this game drew late into the 4th quarter. That might just happen yet this year, as there is a possibility that Stanton can return at some point.

Meanwhile, it is time for us fans to Cardinal up. Take the loss for what it was, an out-manned roster with an ill-equipped quarterback, trying to compete with the league's best. There is no shame in losing that game last night, save for those of you who choose to lay blame where it is not due. That is the ONLY place where shame comes into play at this juncture. Cardinal up and man up, this season is not done yet.

I don't think people are bashing BA fish, they are questioning him about last nights game plan & rightfully so.

No way in Hades did BA have any business throwing the ball 43 times last night with Lindley!!! No freaking way!!! And to not use Williams running the rock more against a faster Seattle defense. His excuse for not using him was almost laughable, given how we won last week & going against the LOB with Ryan freaking Lindley.

Bad move gameplan by BA & I'm right in saying it.

Bucky, Williams was hurt after the last game. He missed some practice time, and was not anywhere near to strength.

That isn't what the HC said. BA clearly stated after the game he was out because of protection in the passing game. Again the game plan made zero sense & even BA said they should've ran it more.

We have had a great year regardless of that loss. We were beat by a much superior team because much of our team was not elgible to play. The biggest loss was Carson Palmer. If you do not have him you do not have a chance to go to the superbowl. Stanton is much better than Lyndley but would not get you to the superbowl. Lyndley iMHO should not even be on the team. WE would have been more competitive if we had signed some former QB in the NFL and not go with a guy who had NEVER thrown a TD in the NFL. Probably still have lost. Sign a real QB a a backup next season. One who has been there and done that or draft one that might be a QB of the future.

OK-----But clearly, Taylor had a stellar game at pass protection against the Seattle rush.

Which is why playing LT is a great idea.

If he dosesn't flash some strong indications that he's got some special talent then dump him and Lindley and go with Carson, Stanton and QBOTF.

End of story.

We can't depend on Carson, Stanton is a great temporary backup but the future needs to be on this team soon Carson is just too fragile at this stage of his career.

Really Fish? That's your answer to a bad gameplan by a terrible QB against a top flight secondary? You know we all respect & enjoy your thoughts & posts but it's ok to question BAs thought process as to what he wanted this offense to do. It doesn't mean me or anyone else is bashing the HC.

I bet if I read back yours or anyone else's posts about how to beat the Seahawks this week & us trying to win, having Lindley throw 44 passes & 15 rushes wouldn't have been part of the equation. Just sayin

Everyone has bad days, even guys like Arians do. It was a bad night for the entire team, and the head coach is far from excluded from that. Yes, I still love the guy. And, last night should not take away his coach of the year accolades.

But, last night, Arians had a bad game. As bad as some of the players. He made mistakes and will need to correct them just like he wants his players to do.

What does "Cardinal Up" mean? Is there some history of excellence no one has ever heard of in Arizona? Is there some history of coming through in the clutch?

Take a look at history. Currently in head to head matchups, the Cardinals and Seahawks are tied at 16 apiece. Matter of fact, you are posting on a forum where there are fans of the Cardinals who have been supporting this team longer than Seattle even had a team and do not have the time or interest to go to a Seattle Seahawk forum win or lose. Lastly, this season the Cardinals are one short of tying the mark for comeback wins in a season... that is clutch

Bucky-----why do you insist on being argumentative? I am not in the least interested in that. I enjoy discussion, but to simply argue with someone is not in my demeanor, nor does it seem to be productive. Can't you simply discuss without being so negative?

Whether you have been following the Cardinals for many years or just the last few years we will all have one thing in common. We are passionate about the Football Cardinals. We will always argue about the team, drafts, players, game plan and etc. But when everything is said and done we are all fans of the Cardinals!!!!

Right. That's why thousands of fans from opposing NFC west teams always find a way to get tickets to Cards games in Arizona.

That's why a player needs to plead with the fan base to show up at the stadium and show support in possibly the biggest regular season game in Arizona Cardinals history.

Hey Catfish, some people just don't get it. We were so overmatched in this game but yet there are some questioning play calling, game plan and whatever.
If we ran the ball 3 times and punted , they would criticize that. If we passed every down they woud criticize that. If we ran on 3rd and 1 and got stuffed they would criticize we were too conservative.

I'm not going to argue or debate with the posters that think that. We were ovematched by a superior team with a depleted roster and a 3rd string QB.

Let me guess you are a bandwagoner. Most of the people on this board have been fans for over 20 yrs and we are passionate about our team. I myself am on my 41st year since 1973 when they were my home town team the St. Louis Football Cardinals. Some on this board have been fans since the Chicago days. I guess in your opinion they are not true fans. So do not lump us in with the people selling tickets. We are diehard Football Cardinal fans!!!

And it is an absolute indisputable fact that I have been a Seahawks fan longer than any Arizona Cardinal fan.
