Alright, somebody here that has children, put up pictures of one of your children as a four or five year old, and everybody will rip on it. It could be fun.
But see, that's the point. We don't post pictures of our children for everyone to look at.
Why is T. J. Kidd in our faces all the freaking time? Because Jason and Joumana are shamelessly exploiting him. Everyone knows that they've had serious domestic problems in the past, so what are they doing? They're shoving their kid at us at every opportunity, as if to say, "No, look, we're really happy together, we promise!" It is hypocritical, it is completely insensitive to what is good for the child, and it is disgusting.
Four or five years from now, when I have a four- or five-year old (my wife is due any day now), I sure hope I have the decency and common sense not to parade my daughter (we think, heh) around at every opportunity that I think might be good for me. Respect the kid's privacy, for crying out loud, even if your career means that you have to give up your own.
And I think that's why people make fun of T. J. Kidd. They resent the way his parents abuse him, trying to make us forget about the dark conflict that is central to their lives. It is insulting to our intelligence, and an afront to all responsible parents. True, it's not T. J.'s fault, and there's nothing he can do about it, so the ridicule is misguided. But it gets the point across, just the same.
