I think that's an unfair label. He broke his foot which can happen to anyone and then there's some mysterious injury/illness/whatever that cost him a month this season. But injury prone is usually reserved for that kind of guy who keeps getting nagging injuries and historically that has not been the case for TJ. Granted, his NBA career so far is a bit worrisome but he played 2 years in college without missing a game and I'm unaware of anything before that either.

Not really. Injury prone just means someone who gets injured frequently. It doesn't have to be the same injury every time for a player to be considered injury prone.

It would be unfair if someone said Warren has chronic injuries but its not unfair to call him injury prone.

The thing with Warren, he appears injury prone which I believe has inhibited his progress. If I'm reading his stats correctly he missed 42 games in 2014-15, and 35 games in 2015-16. So far in 2016-17, he has missed 13 games.

However, his stats have been fairly consistent and his point production has increased each season. Plus he is only 23.

However, Warren is not as physical as I would like and his three point shooting doesn't help. I can't help but think Warren would be a better fit for a team like the Rockets with their running game.

Or the Warriors as well since they run uptempo quite a bit.

TJ of late is a shell of his former self, which is a shame.

Whether its the head injury situation or an offense that is dominated by the backcourt, who knows but at this stage even his worst nights should still see production around 12 points 4 boards and a couple of assists, buts its been much worse.

Hope TJ can get back on track, sooner rather than later.

Btw Tyson has been a beast!

For this team to really improve, where does it have to occur?

Its pretty clear to me that its at the forward positions. We have young prospects there, but the play there is just not good enough. Whether it is the young players picking it up or improving personnel, it really does not matter.

I've posted this before and quite a few disagreed. Tucker is our defensive stopper (whether Guard, Forward or Center). Now I read it online and in the Az Republic.

Until we can replace him with a player with the same skills, he is going to get most of the playing time at the "3". He has been the difference maker. That being said, as a person, he is a flake.

Also, having watched Chriss at the starting "4" for quite a while, I am not impressed with either his development or stats as a Power Forward. The Suns bugaboo of going small at a power position. And I agree that Warren is not our Small Forward of the future.

Other than Booker, the only player we have who excels at his position is Chandler. We need a Point Guard, a Small Forward, a Power Forward and a young Center (more consistent than Len) to build on for the future. Quite a demoralizing prognosis!
