Get your mind off our loss. Where do we start?

Assuming D Washington doesn't return we need 2 inside LB's

Another speedy receiver to replace Fitz, cause I think he's gone.

Help on the interior of the offensive line.

A thumping RB.

And in my eyes the most important thing is some kind of QBoF. We CANNOT go into next season with our current qb situation.

We cannot count on Drew Stanton being our Qb should Palmer get injured orisn't 100%. Even if Palmer is ready to go, he's 35 years old and we will need to bring in a QB to learn this system over the next year or two.

Any list has to have improved OG's. It's pretty dis-heartening that Cooper was inactive for the biggest game of the year, especially when they are throwing Larsen and Fanaika out there.

QBOF has to be the number one priority. This team is so close and the QB is the most important piece missing. Cooper must also play a larger role next season.

Frankly I don't care if Cooper is on the team next year. Injured or not, he's done nothing for the team.

Sean Mannion sounds like a BA type of QB and could be available in round 3.

Vic Beasley is too small to be a OLB in our defense by maybe a viable option as an ILB if he's available.

Fitz won't be easily replaced without spending Fitz money on someone else. Hopefully we find another good sleeper. We seem to do well when it comes to drafting WRs.

A lot of good size at RB this draft, more so than in the past few years.

Never been impressed by Mannion other than his arm-strength.

If Beasley drops because of his size I still would love him as the pick. Keep in mind Dion Jordan and Berkevious Mingo gained nearly 20 pounds between their last college game and combine. Beasley could show up jacked.

Better question is - will be trade out of the #21 spot if SK doesn't see someone he likes...?

I think the big push will be to get Mike Glennon over here, SK has a good working relationship with Tampa's GM as well

It's really sad that Cooper couldn't find his onto the first string. What happened to him after the injury? He has never been the same player.

Our Oline in the middle could definitely use upgrades. We can't keep running guys out there like Larsen and Fanaika and expect to keep winning on a regular basis.

In no particular order: QB. Palmer will be back but he is not the long term answer.
RB. Need a workhorse to go along with the duke.
OG/C. The interior line has sucked. Cooper is the future at one spot but we need someone else.
OLB. Need a speed rusher. Optimally two.
CB. The Cro might be gone.
ILB. This is dependent on the DWash situation.
TE. This is not high on the priority list but it would be nice to have a game breaker.
WR. Although Fitz may be gone I still think that the Cards could be alright without him. It would be a sad sad day if he leaves though.

For me:

Edge Rusher-This is a glaring need. Glaring need. How many times today did we have a 6 or 7 man rush against a 5 man front and we couldn't get anyone near Newton? This has been an issue all season long. I don't care who you have as defensive backs, if your line cannot pressure the QB, eventually a receiver is going to come open. This needs to be rectified.

Interior Offensive Line-Hopefully Cooper can pan out if given the chance(let's face it. coming off a broken leg and barely seeing the field, we still haven't seen what the kid can do) but we need another guard and a center.

Every Down Running Back-We haven't had a solid every down back since Garrison Hearst and before that OJ Anderson. It's time we stop with these east/west scat back types and get a real bruiser.

Pass Catching TE-I like to see what Fells can do but we need someone who can do for us what others do against us.

ILB-As good as Washington is I don't want him back. Anyone who puts his own wants ahead of the team's needs needs to go play somewhere else. I hear Oakland is nice. So we need another ILB.

OLB-We need a good young OLB because our current crop is way too old and way too fragile.

That's the crux of the needs IMO. No order because each is as important as the next.

Yes and Jordan got suspended for PED's and Mingo has 7 sacks in 2 seasons.

Same need we've had for like 40 years, a franchise QB who's under thirty years old.

ILBer is overtaking OLBer for me, at least at this time. Bowles knows how to utilize ILBers to generate a pass rush and mobile QB's are killing our D.

Then OLBer because we need an outside pass rusher.

LT to battle Veldheer and the loser pushes Massie to the bench.

OG is a need but I'm drinking koolaide and expecting Cooper to be in shape with his stinking mind right and take over the LG position. Larsen was playing great at RG and Watford entering his 3rd year should be ready to be a quality starting RG as well.

CB appears to be a need with Cro most likely moving on but my hope is Bethel is ready to step in as the #2 CB.

RB this low because they are easier to find so I expect us to find one in FA and draft one as well.

FS because Johnson is what he is, HB is more the nickel CB type and we don't have anyone else at this point. TE's continue to kill us and a great FS would help stop the bleeding.

Can't believe I waited to list ILBer again so maybe this moves up the list.

TE if the right one falls to us at the right time in the draft. BA says he likes TE's more than FB's but I'm not sure I believe him.

Now let's talk QBOTF because Palmer is very good in the BA system. Stanton is decent and if the Oline is improved and the D solidified he can win games for us. LT is the true question at this point. BA keeps saying he will be good but let's see if he puts his money where is mouth is. If the Cards truly believe in LT then they won't think about drafting a QB this year. If they don't then they will pick a QB in this years draft and it could be in any round.

Veldheer has generally done a good job this season.

I'd like to see us replace the special teams and wide receivers coach. Special teams has sucked this season and the wide receivers have dropped too many balls.

Veldheer has been fantastic. My point is that Massie is only okay as a RT and we have ZERO depth at LT. Let's get this Oline stocked and deep. If we draft a LT and he beats out Veldheer at LT then the Hulk moves to RT and we have the best OT combo in the NFL. If the rookie LT can't be Veldheer out then hopefully he can push Massie to the bench.

Fwiw Beasley was a significantly better college player than both. Now in terms of pro projection that may not be the case. My point is that isn't difficult to add good weight and he just doesn't need it at the college level.

I don't want a qbof now... If healthy we are super close to consistent deep playoff runs... Need to fill holes.
Linebacker
Guards (one being cooper)
Really would like cro back the dbs this year had to hold up wrs for a long time because of no rush and were pretty Damn good. I think they would have been even better with a rush cuz of ball hawking ability.

If u can get a steal of a QB in a later round then cool otherwise trade for Glennon. But the Thomas experiment this year in the fourth didn't work out.

I agree with most of this but closing the curtain on LT is premature. He was drafted in the 4th rd because everyone knew he needed a bunch of time to develop. A bunch of time is more than 1 season BTW.

I really don't think some people know how good Veldheer is... no rookie regardless the round drafted would challenge him :D
