The steelers spent a lot of money to retain key players. For the first time in.........whatever the Cards did the same. We see this as a positive change in this organization. It should help you see that this team appears to be trying to join the rest of NFL in business dealings. It should also have a positive effect on free agency. BUT it doesn't always work. That idiot owner of the skins thinks he can buy a superbowl. He's been through, what 4 coaches. And you next opponent spent considerable money to keep the core players.

Please play your AZ off Sunday. And for that matter the rest of the season. You are on the edge of getting respect in the league. You have ours already. But wins will fill the seats.

Here's an example of failure to fill seats for a new stadium. Rewrite the story for the win starved fans of Arizona and Diego Garcia (that was a good one).

Yeah

Gotta agree.

If we lose the seasons not over.

But if we win we make a HUGE statement.

We just beat the Steelers.....IN THEIR HOUSE.

That would be bigger than big.

You guys can do it.

Thanks Buckeye.

Here's the deal. If we win we are going to hear more of the same. The steelers are under producing. Cowher needs to go. Everything BUT the fact that we beat them there.
But it's another win. Keep winning until we get a team that's on a roll. Then everyones watching to see if this team is for real.

I really don't want to disrepect Emmitt. He's had a great career even though I hate dallas. But it's Marcells time. Those of you that point out the fact that the OL is finally healthy and Emmitt can run up the same numbers, how do you know if they aren't playing the way they are now because they know what we know? That they can win with Shipp. That they aren't blowing those holes and beating down the DL because Shipp starting?

I'm saying these players are with each other more then Sundays. And more importantly, what will happen to the chemistry if we scew with this when Smith's shoulder is ready. Is it really worth it?

I bet if we were to win out and go 11-5 they would find reasons why the other team lost, not why we won! I e-mailed espn to ask why Rudi Johnson was praised for his 101 yards while the same week Shipp went for 165 and was hardly mentioned.........no answer. Figures. The national media will be taken by storm by our beloved Cards this year!!!!!!

I agree. That's what we've had to look forward to as Cardinal fans. But for this team to keep improving each week and with each win comes more confidence. And idiots like Gambo and Collinsworth have to jump on the band wagon. That would be sweet.

That my friend is our redemption.

actually...I listened to gambo do his weekly segment with ron jaworski on friday....gambo sounded like he has one foot on the bandwagon already...he jumped off a few weeks ago when we were losing - but he is back in line to get a ticket..

I have ripped gambo on this board and really do not like his radio personality...but I met him in person a year or two ago..chatted with him for awile..and he was a nice, sincere guy...that being said - I rarely listen to him on the radio..

Another reason for hope. And as this thread was intended for the players, you are starting to get attention from some very negative (in the past) press.

Collingsworth

Chris is a lawyer so he's only gonna defend the easily defendable or lie about the indefenseable.

Now he thinks we're the indefenseable...and he doesn't have the gonads to make any kind of prediction that may be positive.

I have read some good things......but they always sprinkle a lot of negetive on top of it. Offensive line beginning to live up to it's billing.....Shipp is making Cards respectable.....Blake is beginning to manage offense well......Defense playing well enough to win games. Just read all of these comments today. If you add all that up...good line play, good QB game management, great running game, defense playing well = WIN!!!! Am I right or what!!!!!

By the way, not to forget the play of Boldin and Hodgins. Maybe 1 or 2 more will step up their game this week. Johnson, maybe? Gilmore, I hope?
