The only thing Haley has to remember is we no longer have Warner ( or a good qb) at the helm. Warner helped a lot of people look good.

He didn't help Denny Green look good. Warner didn't start lighting it up until Haley became OC. In fact many here on ASFN believed Warner was too old and washed up and that Leinart was the QBOF and Warner should be nothing more than a backup.

I don't buy at all that Kurt Warner was solely responsible for the offensive success of 2007.5, 2008 and 2009. Not when he had WRs like Fitz and Boldin.

People like to dis Boldin now by bringing up his numbers with the Ravens conveniently forgetting he had 101 catches for 1,377 yards and 8 TDs as a rookie, when our leading WR the year before had 512 yards and 1 TD, with McCown and Blake throwing to him, BJohnson, Gilmore and Poole playing WR beside him, and McGinnis coaching him. Q was and still is a GAM WR.

I think it will be good to have a guy like Haley to challenge both Whisenhunt and the players. At times you get the feeling that there are too many yes men around Whisenhunt, something you're unlikely to get with Haley's fiery attitude.

If Whiz required yes men, he wouldn't be hiring Haley.

Kurt wasn't soley respnsible for our success but his pre-snap reads were unmatched and he admits he ran the offense at times and it was right of Haley to let him do that. Our current QB's just can't see the field like that. Now i wanted him back to coach the WR's because we saw the way he developed Breaston which is what i hope happens to Andre Roberts. I just hope people aren't expecting a miraculous change because a different guy is running the same offense.

Why is there any argument whatsoever regarding Haley. He's a very good OC & it would be a great hire by the Cardinals. It was nice that we finished strong, but the offense down the stretch was still pretty pedestrian. I'm ok if it doesn't happen, but I'm thrilled if it does.

92-18 in the poll! I think he's the best hope for injecting some life into an underperforming offense because I don't think the quarterback, offensive line, or even wide receiver positions will be upgraded much, if at all. Therefore, IMO, the best hope for offensive improvement is maximizing production from current players and scheme. Hopefully Todd Haley can help do that.

Recent Development: Jets will most likely fire Brian Schottenheimer and bring in Haley as OC and Sporano as O-Line coach.

Either way it goes down, I just want it to go down fast so we can move on and start planning for next season. :)

id assume with his pedigree and history we would be offering a similar salary as the jets.

Maybe not.

But, profitability over profit. id rather make good money for 10 years than get a fat deal with a crap offense and ruin my name by not scoring tds.
