based on his 2009 mock draft, looks like McShay pegs the Niners at 5-11 again this season

I dunno, I think he has some legitimate points. Everyone wanted to add some speed in the backfield and on offense for that matter. They didnt do it. And as much as I liek DRC you have to be concerned a bit about his lack of physical play and his level of competition.

I guess I want some internal consistency from him.

The Cards in rounds 1-3 got better collective "value" per McShay's own rankings than any other team in the division.

DRC was picked within two spots of his rankings. If McShay had concerns, why rank him at #18 overall?

McShay ranked Campell higher than Lawrence Jackson. Cards used #50 on Campbell, Seahawks used #28 on Jackson. McShay considered John Carlson the 4th best TE and a third rounder -- Seahawks take him in the second. Conclusion by McShay: Seahawks did a better job. Go figure.
