One of the biggest question marks surrounding DT Derrick Harmon in the buildup to the 2025 NFL Draft was whether a health concern might cause his draft stock to slide — but apparently not far at all, as the Steelers wasted little time selecting him with the No. 21 pick in the first round.

During the post-pick press conference, Steelers GM Omar Khan was asked about any "red flags" surrounding Harmon's health, and he shut down the notion quickly:

"We wouldn't have picked him unless our medical staff and we were comfortable with [Harmon's health]," Khan elaborated.

Mike Tomlin also stepped in to help alleviate concerns regarding Harmon's medical status:

"Yeah, we had him in on our pre-draft [top-30 visit] — had an opportunity to get him in front of our docs, and we were extremely comfortable with [Harmon's health]."

If the Steelers truly believe Harmon's health will be a non-factor moving forward, his first-round selection looks a lot less like a reach — and more understandable. But with QB Shedeur Sanders still on the board, should the team have gone in a different direction?
