from the article : "Nine of the Steelers' 11 penalties came before or after the snap, and four of those were committed by offensive linemen. "
I wonder when the other two happened............
Tomlin gave credit to the Cards in his postgame blahblahblah.
Yet, right guard Kendall Simmons bristled at the suggestion that he and his teammates on the offensive line were simply beaten up front.
"I'm not ever going to say somebody was more physical than us, unless it was true," Simmons said, "and I don't feel that way."
Let's not forget that if Boldin was playing, this game may have not been even close.
Wade Phillips is by far the leader for coach of the year. Cardinals would have to get 10 wins for Whiz to get it IMO.
And they will, mr. 7-9.
I'm a 7-9er too. Can't wait to be wrong.
Oh man, that is nice and all, but a loss on sunday to the wahms makes the schedule much tougher.I was an 8-8 to 9-7er.
But I didn't think we'd see this team playing this solid of ball, this soon. They *can* win 10 games...their schedule is becoming easier by the day...

Don't do that yet. You will be sorry.:mullit:
I, for one, am assuming we are done with the SOC and that strange thing we are about to blow right through on Sunday is that elusive corner.
Don't do that yet. You will be sorry.
I won't be...I can promise you.
All that is left is the waiting for us to win to prove it, but all the information and data is there.
We've NEVER played this well. Ever. EVER. In 98 when we went to the playoffs, we assed our way into it and never looked like we belonged there until we surprisingly beat the cowboys. In 2002 we started 4-2 but it was a complete mirage and we barely won ugly games (9-6 cowboys game in OT because they missed an EP?).
This team, despite having an almost rookie QB struggling on offense is bringing the funk to some of the best teams in the league.
So, while they have yet to pass the final test and beat the rams on the road like they should (and not get thumped like the SOC would) they have soared through all the pre-tests with flying colors.
We have been physically dominating each team we've played...I don't know if we've ever done that.
WHEN we beat the Rams on Sunday, the ten win talk will officially begin. When we THUMP the Panthers in front of a wild home crowd the following week, the ER will be swollen with people ODing on KoolAid.
I have always thought nothing would be finer than to be a 7-9er.
Yuck. You almost got one of these Thought you were going to say 49er.
I won't be...I can promise you.
