Alright this is my last thread.

Cleveland looks like they are going to keep Z and they also have Diop. I think Tony would fit in and could be had for a reasonable price.

I remember a few years ago everyone here was dreaming that Battie would come here.

I expect Battie will start at PF. He is a bit small for center anyway and with Z they don't need a lot of scoring from him.

As for Diop, he is rapidly becoming viewed as one of the worst flops in recent lottery history (along with Skeets I might add). He only averaged 13.1 minutes last season while appearing in only 56 games. For a guy who was in his third year, it is time to begin thinking he may be a pure bust.

When we traded for Jadadi, the only two names being thrown about was Battie and Jahadi.

I personally wanted Battie, but after the trade, at least we got the shorter contract.

I dont know what we would offer the Cavs though. Remember, they lost Boozer, so Battie will fill in at PF a lot now.

I thought there would have been a marginal chance of getting Battie if Boozer had stayed, but I'd say it has dropped to "NO Way". Realitically, his contract of $4.8 this year and $5.2 next season is a serious bargain at today's inflated prices for inside guys.
