If Pettigrew is there at 31, do the Cardinals take him? Obviously depends on which RB is there, but Pettigrew would be a great addition.

Chiefs have 3 2nd round picks now? Anyways, I am liking this possibility of Pettigrew at 31 if Moreno isn't there. Maybe Donald Brown over Pettigrew, but I would have Pettigrew over Wells.

The Cheifs had a hell of a draft last year and are stockpiling picks again. I love this. They are gonna be a really mean team soon.

Echhh. I just spent 10 minutes writing how the Cards should have traded for him.

That sucks.

Pettigrew has a good chance of going 28.

Not gonna happen...

From the source:
Ken Whisenhunt said:
“People say address it in the draft, well, that’s one of the harder positions to find in the draft,” Whisenhunt said. “Where we are right now, I feel good with what we have.”

I don't want a TE with our 1st round pick no matter who is available. I want the Cardinals to draft somebody to help them sack the QB with their 1st round selection. The Cardinals are scoring more than enough points to win, we need to address reducing the amount of points we are giving up on defense.

I thought someone well-respected on this sight wrote up a negative note on this Pettigrew kid from the Senior Bowl.

we don't need 8 TE's on the roster.Let's have Heap, Petigrew, Pope, Patrick, Becht, Spach,Tuman, and Shor on the team next year. At least Whiz will have alot of competition that he likes.

That sucks.

No kidding. Damn it!!!! Tony G. would have made the possible departure of Q palpable.

Not to mention what a great marketing move this would have been for the Card's organization stated mission of wooing a larger piece of the Hispanic market.

A lost opportunity.

Not on the road in the cold they're not. We need a running game, badly.

The road schedule doesn't have us playing any games that I would consider cold weather games this season. Since we will have home field advantage in the playoffs it won't be a factor there either. :)

I hope either Philly drafts him or the Bills draft him. That assures at least one good RB or pass rusher drops to us.

I have Philly grabbing him at #21.

(Note - He probably will be overdrafted a little because he's the only TE worthy of a 1st round pick, whereas there figure to be 3 RB's taken in the first round (i.e. teams may be inclined to wait a round for a good RB, but if they don't get Pettigrew, there's a pretty big dropoff).
