As we all have discussed, pick #33 should be an excellent player.

Here is my unofficial board of people I would take at #33.

The first column are guys that could go in round 1 but that I wouldn't really want at #33 (9 total players).

The position columns equal 28 players...people that I would take at pick #33 (not necessarily ranked).

That means...5 guys or more from the first column or other players not on this list need to be drafted in round 1 to guarantee one of these players is available at #33.

Quinnen Williams is my hope at #1.

N'Keal Harry and AJ Brown are 2 players that I hope will be there at #33.

Hakeem Butler and Greg Little might be there and they are in red because they are a bit risky at that spot but really high upside.

#33 is in play for a lot of potential names as you suggeted.

Assuming the obvious first rounders are gone, I wouldn't mind looking at:

WR: N'Keal Harry, AJ Brown, Deebo Samuel, DK Metcalf (this draft is thick with second round caliber WR talent)
DL: Dexter Lawrence, Jerry Tillery, Jeffery Simmons (Simmons was a top pick until his injury)
CB: Rock Ya Sin (Byron and Greedy will be gone, the rest are 3rd rounders)
LB: none (Devin White is a star. Everyone else is okay.)
OLB: Jaylon Ferguson, Oshane Ximinez (Bosa, Sweat, Burns, Allen and Ferrell are gone by 33)
TE: Irv Smith, Noah Fant
OL: Dalton Risner, Chris Lindstrom I'd look at. Any of Dillard, Taylor, or Williams that may fall for OT's.
RB: none, in this spot.
QB: none. First or nowhere, and only first if we get a later first back for Rosen.

IMO Cards will take a receiver in 2nd round. Big need and lots of really good ones would be there at #33.

I agree with WR in 2nd if its Harry, AJ Brown, Marquis Brown, Metcalf, or Butler. A lot of talent in that group.

Based on the system (air raid), I still think you can pick up solid OT's in rounds 3-5. Bobby Evans, Cajuste, Edoga, etc. I wouldn't count on that with any other offensive system (gives us a bit of an advantage). We also don't need these guys to start this year but learn from Kruger for a year and potentially start next year. I would grab 2 T's.

One of the big OT's could fall out of rd 1 as well (Ford) or you could take a risk on a very talented Greg Little. Little at one point was considered the top OT in the draft. I have trust the Kruger could get him straightened out. The talent is there for sure.

I think with the numbers of OL already on the roster, the Cardinals arent using a high pick this year. Kugler likely has a few mid round guys he likes.

IMO the value of WR is at it's best at the beginning of round 2. The Cardinals should be able to find a player who is productive in year one.

Gambo mentioned five names today (in no particular order) that the Cardinals are eyeing in the top 33:

1) Cody Ford OT/OG Oklahoma
2) Chris Lindstrom OG/C Boston College
3) AJ Brown WR Ole Miss
4) Garrett Bradbury OG/C NC State
5) N’Keal Harry WR ASU

Interesting that they’re looking at interior OL and no D-line or pass rushers. WR is an obvious need.

Thoughts???

The value might not be there at the top of the second for pass rushers and DL.

Real good value on interior line at the beginning of 2nd.

I think Brown will be our pick at 33.

Pat Kirwan (former NFL GM) talks a lot about "explosion number"; adding reps from bench press, vertical and broad jumps. Anything in the 70's is outstanding, N'Keal Harry explosion # is in the 80's.

I want an Olineman in the 2nd rd before a WR but I wouldn't complain if Harry is the choice.

If we dont take Murray, I expect Keim to trade back and pick up 2 1sts and a 2nd, high 3rd, and/or 2020 1st. With 2 1sts and 2nds along with our #1 in the 3rd, I would prefer:

If in top 6, then 1 of the big 4 - Bosa, Williams, Allen or White
If our 1st is below that and they are all gone, the Hockenson for sure if available.

W/ 2nd pick in 1st, BPA DT, TE, CB, or OL

1st pick in 2nd, deep threat WR either Hollywood Brown or DK Metcalf

2nd pick in 2nd, BPA whoever falls the most at DT, CB, OL, or a 2nd WR who runs great routes, great hands, and is tough going over the middle like Ridley or whoever.

1st in 3rd - best OG/C/OT

After that bpa off our board for depth at cb/s, lb, dt, wr, de, ol.
