I’ll take Jerry Hughes but prefer Arden Key. Stephon Gilmore would be a good short term but he probably wants megabucks. Bring back Calais.

Looking at the names on that list you can understand why most of them are still free agents. They are either on the wrong side of 30 or are closer to 40 than 30 or have some level of injury history.

Sounds like Christmas for Keim.

The tough part is that most of those guys are just a one year patch when we already are short on long term signed players.

Signing Gilmore is nice but it doesn't change that we will only have Gladney and Wilson under contract in 2023. Now, it does look different if Keim would pull his head out a re-sign some of his own upcoming FAs. (aka Murphy, JThompson, ZAllen and DJ)

I'll take Clowney, Calais, Julio Jones, and Stephen Nelson on cheap 2 year deals

I'm all for re-signing some of our own. Not DJ, though. Feels like he's on the down side, or, if not, we need to see if last year was an aberration first. The others, certainly, if ZAllen will take a modest deal.

Take the list and cross off any players represented by Erik Burkhardt. :)
We already renegotiated a deal this offseason with one of his players and none of his players are free agents on that list. Unless you're referring to your favorite all-time player in Daryl Washington, who he still represents.

Hes already MASSIVLY overpaid for what he is...which is a mid tier LT at best.

I was fully in favor of not extending him and drafting his replacement...but almost everyone on this board went with the "What...you're gonna start a rookie at LT" argument. Meanwhile all the LT's in that draft are already better than DJ.

We could slide Beachum to LT, put Jones at RT...and there would be no difference, except the huge cap savings. Beachum has been every bit as good as DJ since getting here, at 1/10 the price.
