How Can third string te be worth a 3rd. I’d offer them a 7 th or they can keep him.

Um, he would probably be the cards first string TE.

Let me ask you this, is there a 3rd round TE in this draft better than Howard? I don't think so.

Actually my biggest concern about this offer would be how much cap room does he take up.

So good news - I am reading there are now several teams trying to move into the back of the top 10 and the cards and browns are the only teams open to trading down.

Says Miami wants to take a qb, than move back into the top 10 for a tackle, they have a bunch of picks available to accomplish this. Philly for a WR, Denver for a WR, Atlanta for a CB, and Tampa for a Tackle are also looking to trade up.

Says cards if they stay at 8 will draft a tackle or Isiah Simmons, but more likely are going to get a nice price to move back due to all the teams looking to trade up.

Howard has not lived up to his hype. Give up a 3rd round for a guy you might not be able to keep in 2021? But even more than that the Bucs have no leverage. He is their 3rd TE. They don’t want him. Take advantage of that offer them a 7 th move up to a 6 th. The Pats got a 4th for Gronk and got a 7 th in return. And you’re willing to give up a 3rd for an underperformed? No thanks.

Examined the draft chart with potential trade down teams. This is what I came up with in return for #8 and what our first 5 picks would be.

Miami...18, 39, 72, 114, 131
Atlanta..16, 47, 72, 124, 131
Vegas....12, 72, 80, 114, 131
Bucs......14, 45, 72, 114, 131

when you look at players available looking at rankings there are a crazy number of combination of who we could pick.

I'd take th Bucs deal and send them 131 for Howard.

Give me Kinlaw or Henderson at 14, and then Mimms or Pitman at 45

I don’t see us taking a wr that high. I think we load up on front 7, adding a rb and an ol but not with the first pick.
