I am sure Boston will be making some big changes during the summer since they are not going far in the playoffs. I see Walker being traded and that might change the hole look of the team. Plus I am sure Boston is pissed at us for the JJ for Rodney and Delk thing and will not be willing to do a trade again. Plus IMO Bo is worth more to the team then getting another center.

Report: Ainge working on extension for O'Brien

Former Celtic Danny Ainge, recently hired as Boston's executive director of basketball operations, said he will not trade forward Antoine Walker and that he was working on a contract extension for coach Jim O'Brien.
The story was reported by the Boston Globe on its Web site Wednesday.
"I have absolutely no intention of trading Antoine Walker," Ainge told the Globe. "I will never make a phone call in that regard. I had a talk with Antoine [Tuesday] and told him what I expected of him this summer, his preparation coming into training camp next year. That's my plan. That's what we're planning on doing going forward."
Boston's season ended Monday night when the New Jersey Nets completed a four-game sweep in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Walker averaged just 12 points and missed 35 of 52 shots in the first three games. He had 20 points in Boston's 110-101 Game 4 loss.
Ainge, 44, was hired Friday and reported for work Monday to start preparing for the draft, but said then he wouldn't tinker with the team until after the season.
Ainge told the Globe that talks with O'Brien are under way.
"I am in the process of negotiating a new deal with Jim O'Brien," Ainge said. "I had a conversation with Jim's agent [Lonnie Cooper on Wednesday]."
Team owner Wyc Grousbeck also told the Globe on Wednesday that "paperwork is under way for the assistant coaches, meaning written contract extensions are being prepared."
O'Brien last week hailed Ainge's hiring, which was announced Friday. A member of the 1984 and '86 NBA champions, Ainge was wildly cheered that night when he walked into FleetCenter with Red Auerbach, who drafted Ainge in 1981 and lured him away from Major League Baseball.
"I think it's wonderful. I think it's a great move by our owners," O'Brien said Friday. "In the future, people will look back, I think they will think it's a real step forward and a turning point for our franchise."
