He's a good rebounder some nights but he's not within the top 5 rebounders in the league. He gets a lot because the Suns don't have other rebounders so he ends up with a few more than he would if he played with a real PF.

While that may be true he’s still a top rebounder. But lately he’s had a couple subpar rebounding games.

I need to find a site that ranks players by rebounding rate. Id be curious to see where he falls in that regard.

And Chris Paul only has 2 points. He has been playing so well and shooting 50% from three over the last 10 games.

yup. I said at the time that maybe it was the “getting too big for their britches” game. They’ve definitely bounced back like beasts.

Chris Paul has had a Steve Nash-like effect on this team. If they hadn’t had that rough patch right after the 5-1 start, people would be talking CP3 4 MVP like 2004.

His offensive rebound numbers are better than many others defensive rebounds numbers.

if Ayton had taken a big step forward like Amare did that year, we’d be the best team in the league like 2004. Or at least best record.

hopefully he keeps coming around and gets a little better. Unlocking his aggression and making it full time is all that stands between this team being a playoff contender and a title contender. The 2004 team was almost unstoppable offensively, but this team is MUCH better defensively and much much deeper.

regardless, I’m having a blast right now watching this team. They are playing beautiful basketball.

I actually wish we had Utah on the schedule right now. We’ll just have to do with the Lakers twice in the next 10 days.

They'll be without AD so it will be a test still but not a possible playoff preview. I hope the Suns can keep this up and smack them around regardless of whose there.
