I know we get frustrated with the Suns' drafting, but at least they aren't the Blazers:

1984, Bowie at #2 over Jordan
2007, Oden at #1 over Durant
2023, "Scoot" at #3 over anyone else

Scoot also cost them Lillard. There are other ways they could have gone but they made it clear to Dame that Scoot was their PG and they wanted to hand him the keys to the franchise immediately.

A lot of point Booker tonight, which was not a bad thing as his shooting was off.

It's amazing how he adapts his game accordingly.

Devin had 28 points on 9-23 shooting (2-10 from three), 9 rebounds, 9 assists and only 1 turnover.

I disagree. We were a 2nd apron already and Ishbia was committed to spending. Beyond the salary, Beal is a good player. The coaching staff can't let his salary dictate his role. If he doesn't like the role or sitting while he's hurt then he can waive his no trade clause. No deal is untradable. We've heard that about many players but they've all been moved CP3, Russ, Ben Simmons, Poole, Gobert, and others have been said to be on "untradeable" contracts but they were traded.

I disagree. Maybe it is semantics, but there are a ton of contracts that are “untradeable” in the NBA.

The only way we could move Beal is to package other assets to incentivize dumping him.

If I’m trying to sell a car and the only way to get a buyer is to give them a few grand to take it off my hands, that’s basically untradeable.

That was an ugly game. I am surprised Bud did not call timeout in that 4th quarter run by the Blazers. I am also surprised that he left Beal in after he stood there at the free throw line hold his elbow and then clanking two free throws.

The passing was pretty poor most of the game. Everyone was throwing the ball away, Booker, KD, GA,

I don’t think Bud was worried about losing. He just needed some instructional film for meeting sessions.

Will be good to see Ayton again. Hope he has a nice game. Got nothing against the dude. They just made the wrong pick.
Agreed and I was really bummed that our fans booed him all game long. It's not his fault the Suns didn't do their due diligence.

I'm not on the bash Beal train, but I've bought a couple of tickets to the bash Nurkic one. Those are the most expandable in my opinion, given that we get decent value for money back.

I've been on the bash Nurk train since last season.
