I like to make a pick of a guy making the team based on the first week of camp - 2 years ago I saw Ellington run a drill and thought - this guy will play well.

Today, I'm picking #83, Gerald Christian after watching 30 seconds of video, he looks like a great blocker - and that's all it takes for this game :)

Who you got?

Jurecki has a few short clips on his twitter of these drills. We might need to sign some more tight ends :(

As you can see, my guy, #81, just got cut. Still not ready to pick a replacement, but I have received a number of e-mails from guys on the bubble, asking that I DON'T pick them. I'd like to comply, but I'm keeping my options open.

I'm pulling for Paul Lasike, he likes to hit and maybe he could become the short yardage pounder back.

yeah after watching practice today that guy really stood out to me. He really had soft hands for such a thick guy which surprised me.

As for my underdog I'm going with #80 TE Ifeanyi Momah. The dude put on a show today and it would be hard for the coaches not to notice that performace. Question is do the Cards have a place for a pass catching TE on the team?

I'm rooting for him as well, the above link is an interview with Mo. He is intelligent and loves football. Worth the listen IMO.

Anthony Steen and ifeanyi momah get my vote to make the team. Steen looks like our best center so far and Momah is the top athlete at tight end.
