Ah... it's not that bad....
I forgot to mention...if the water outside of the boat was more than a little cold, why wasn't the water inside the boat just as cold?

And the Billy Zane character was straight out of silent movies...he should have been off tying damsels to traintracks.

James Cameron, if his villian is not an alien or a robot, his villians are stoo-pid.

The dumb Arab villians and the fighter jet into the building ruined the rest of the somewhat funny movie.

No interest anymore.

The Abyss?

And yet, you like the stupid, racist, horribly-acted Transformers 2.

That invalidates pretty much all your negatives about the other Cameron movies. ;)

I am not sure where you got racist, but you are probably right. I would call it mindless and leave it that.

That probably means I should absolutely LOVE the Cameron movies. He didn't have Transformers in any of his movies, so that negates any of your validations of His Royal Highness Cameron. :)

I like the Transformer movies. Great popcorn flicks.

I will wait for Blu Ray though.

Megan Fox dropped from "Transformers 3"
http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE64J04920100520

By Borys Kit

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) -

In a surprisingly sudden axing, Megan Fox will not return to star in "Transformers 3," which began shooting this week in Los Angeles.

The actress last year likened franchise director Michael Bay to Hitler and Napoleon, and said he was "a nightmare to work for." Still, it is unusual to eliminate an actor or actress so closely associated with the movie, not to mention a key character in the movie, just as it begins production.

The move is also unusual since word around Hollywood talent agencies was that Bay and writer Ehren Kruger were planning on creating a female nemesis for Fox.

Bay and company now plan to take the story "in another direction," according to insiders, and will cast a new love interest.

The third installment of the popcorn blockbuster had been amassing a higher level of actors, with John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey being new additions.

You mean this one will feature a plot not done by a monkey on acid?

I find it pretty comical that Shia Labouf is now talking about how Transformers 2 was one of the worst movies ever made.

Oh yeah that **** sucked but I got paid!

Yeah, I bet the directors, his fellow actors, and the studios love his comments about his last few films. LOL

At least Megan Fox isn't in it. She gives it a high eye-candy-quotient but she can't act at all. And I'm sure her replacement will be hot eye-candy anyway.

I have see much worse acting from less hotter actresses. I think this kind of sucks. This movie is all about eye candy robots, Fox and all. If the writing on this film is any worse then the second, all the eye candy in the world won't matter anyway. Transformers 2 wasn't a total loss (battles were cool) but it could not have gotten much worse in the dialogue section.

I just like consistency in characters. Replacement actors (even if you call them by a different name) rarely make it work.

It's too bad Fox wont be in it. She was one of the few reasons that I watched the Transformers movies. Oh well, now I'm curious who the new love interest will be. But guaranteed, there is NO replacing Megan Fox.

Report: Model to Replace Fox in 'Transformers 3'

Victoria's Secret bombshell will play a new character in the sequel
MSN Entertainment

Looks like a lingerie model is transforming into a lead actress.

According to Access Hollywood, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will replace Megan Fox in the third "Transformers" movie, and she will be playing a new love interest for Shia LaBeouf's character.

The 23-year-old British hottie has apparently never had an acting job before (according to her IMDB page), but she has had plenty of experience posing for the Victoria's Secret catalogue. In 2009, she was named "Model of the Year" by ELLE Magazine.

Transformers 3 will (of course) be in 3D.

Also - Shockwave will be a featured villain.
