Opening Day is finally as the Philadelphia Phillies get set to face the Washington Nationals to open the 2025 season.
Here's a look at the Opening Day roster and lineup as the Phillies look to rebound from last season's National League Divisional round loss to the New York Mets
Phillies manager Rob Thomson announced that Zack Wheeler will start Opening Day against the Nationals. It will be Wheeler's second straight Opening Day start for the Phils.
Meanwhile, the Nationals will send left-handed starter MacKenzie Gore to the mound.
First pitch of the Phillies-Nationals game in Washington is set for 4:05 p.m.

The game will be on NBC10 and NBCSP+. The radio broadcast will be on 94WIP and WDEL 101.7 FM/1150 AM.
The Phillies will hold their home opener at Citizen Bank Park on March 31. The Phillies will open against the Colorado Rockies.
Philadelphia's first home weekend series will be April 4-6 against the Dodgers.
