great stuff.

I really like the BUd and Bleachers sections to rate the sweater meat.

I'd add a Kettle Corn stand too.

I think you're too late. It's called GameWorks. If you must take the little lady to the mall, take here to AZ Mills. Beer, Video Games, Sports on TV, and she gets to shop all day? I see it as a win/win.

Oh yea.......... and I don't think there's a chance in hell that Kasper gets cut.

So, no one trusts Sully's judgement on a player, the best WR coach in the league, and the offensive coordinator for this team. What makes you think that you're judgement is better than coach Sullivan's (Holian posed this question to me, so it's fair to ask it for those that are defending Kasper)? Kasper makes circus catches, but, as I said before, sometimes WRs have to make circus catches, because they're out of position. Sully demands strict attention to detail in decisions and route-running, and my guess is that Kasper is freelancer on his routes.

40year: It's good to see that someone else drinks Manhattans (though lately I've been downing Irish Whiskey with a Guiness chaser). I thought I was the only one. By the way, the best Manhattans in the Valley, hands down, can be found at Bar Louie in downtown Tempe.

Finally, the best mall is Chandler Fashion Square, hands down. Even the older women look good (tons of MILFs), and there's a Sharper Image.

Every man who lives in the Valley should thank God every time they walk down the street, especially near ASU. I was in Philly, Arlington, and D.C. last spring, and the "scenery" was just brutal. My friends who moved out there were stunned by the comparison and scarcity of even moderately-attractive women in the tri-state area. I had another friend who went to Brown, and when he came back on break, he was heard to say, "I love it here. Even the ugly girls at least make an effort."

Phoenix is fortunate to be in the Top 4 Regions of Beautiful Women: Southern California, Florida, New York City, and Phoenix. We're truly blessed.

The worst part about going to the mall with the Wife is when she asks you to hold her purse when she goes to try something on. I mean really, there is no way to look good holding a purse.

I noted in one training camp report that Kasper seems to get more riding from sullivan than anyone else...Seems Kasper can never do anything right in practice...I think the consensus was that sullivan rode Kasper the hardest because he liked him and wanted him to succeed...Maybe not..maybe Jerry has issues with kevin.. Guess we will find out on final roster cutdown day..

Sometimes you have to push people harder and in different ways to get them to reach their potential. I doubt that Sullivan "Hates" Kasper. However to the outside observer who is watching Sullivan Ride Kasper it looks worse than it is.

MCD, I think it's all in how you approach it. My wife does that to me all the time (holding her purse while she tries on clothes). You have to understand that this is a power trip for women (making men do something that men absolutely hate to do). If you want to derail that train, wait until you see her coming out of the dressing room and start rummaging through her purse like you're looking for something (have your back turned to her like you don't know she's there). When she taps you on the shoulder and asks you what you are looking for, turn around with a guilty look on your face and say "Oh nothing".

Leave it at that and never offer an explanation or let her bully one out of you. After 1 or 2 times, she will start taking her purse with her.

I for one don't mind holding the purse. If I catch some guy staring at me and sneering, I just hug the purse, smile back at him and wink. They usually disappear in a hurry. This can backfire though. One guy tried to pick me up:D

Since we were both stuck outside the dressing room I figured I'd try get some inside info. In a nutshell he said camp has been really intense, Emmitt has been a great leader, and Blake has brought a lot of trash talking to the mix, that has made the O vs D scrimmages a lot of fun. I also asked him about the Iowa guys, Woods and Kasper. He said Woods would make the team if for no other reason than he is an absolute stud on special teams. He is one of those seek and destroy types. As for Kasper this is where it got interesting. He said he thinks Kasper is our best receiver, but he probably won't make the team. It seems that Sullivan doesn't like him, in fact he used the words "pure hatred". He doesn't know why or at least he wouldn't tell me. I guess it has been one of the hot topics among the players. I don't know how this will all play out, but it is pretty interesting.

As interesting as this tidbit of info is, we need a source. Who is this mysterious DB? And why cant he be named?

I agree. I think that the reason that Sully probably doesn't like him is because he is making his job so damn hard. We have guys like Gilmore, Johnson, Boldin, and McAddly that Sully hand picked, however there is Kasper out playing alot of them.

No, an "outside observer" like a defensive player speculating on the personal relationship between an offensive player and his OC/ former position coach, based on what he's heard/ seen at practice. What, do we think Bill Parcells is the only coach who says and does things for effect, keeping his motivations to himself?

Let's get real. Jerry Sullivan coached Kevin Kasper for a good part of last season. The Cardinals--presumably with Sullivan's blessing--brought Kasper back this year, even though they had a boatload of other receivers returning (McAddley, Poole, Soliday), coming off IR (Gilmore), arriving through the draft (Johnson, Boldin), or acquired through trade (Foster, Walker). That's not counting this year's UDFAs. I'd heard that Kasper even lived with Sullivan, for a brief period. Last Saturday, Sullivan chose to start Kasper across from Bryan Gilmore (who oughta have "Jerry's Kid" stencilled on the back of his jersey, in my opinion). Kasper responded by leading the team in receiving yards, and scoring the game's only touchdown.

Yeah, Sullivan clearly can't stand the guy.

Who cares what his past track record is? They throw it, he catches it. What a concept.
I dont think it really matters who Sully likes or not.

This isnt a game of friends, its football.

I am guessing Coach Mac would not risk his job by cutting his so-called "best" reciever, because Sully doesnt like him...

Sullys job is to call plays, not deal with the WR's anymore...

New York City? You've got to be kidding. And when you do find the beautiful ones you have to listen to that accent.

Hey, I like that accent (I'm from there) what I really can't stand is the southern accent. Of everywhere I've been the city with the most hotties is Miami. Go to a mall there and you'll think J-Lo looks plain.

I don't know. It's also possible (even likely) that Sully ran him out there in order of seniority, or any other reason. It's pretty obvious that B. Johnson wasn't ready to start, and Boldin is a slot player. I just think it's funny that people on this board thinks that they have a greater "in" on the evaluation of players/personnel issues than those that are "in the huddle" in camp and make a living evaluating players, just because they like a couple circus catches and are dazzled by 2 catches for 27 yards.

Dude -- I am from Phoenix, but I am a believer.

Take a walk down 5th Ave, from 54th or so up to around the Park on a sunny spring day.

You may not get many So Cal type blondes, but if you like brunettes and leather, you will sprain your neck.

A story told from an unnamed DB to someone at the mall. All of a sudden this is the truth. We've had Camp reports come in every day and Not once have I seen "Sullivan appears to Hate Kasper" or anything even close. Think about it.
