The Suns should go for Love this summer. Why not? If the door is shutting for him in Cleveland with Thompson, and Randle is the PFOF in LA, we could sell him on stepping into the #1 spot on a young team with talent as a starting PF. I cannot see what it would hurt. Maybe there is someone else he likes that he could convince to come along.

In the mean time they should try to trade for Durant and Davis as well.

Not to be rude but what incentive does Love have to sign with the Suns? I'm 99% sure he doesn't look at the Suns as much of an upgrade over Minnesota which he hated. Opportunity to "start on a young team with talent" is just suger coating crap and you know it. This is supposedly a team that's supposed to be rebuilding but instead we're just a middling team right now.

And I'm 100% sure that if Love signed with the Lakers, Mitch Kupchak isn't gonna say "Ok well Kevin, we have the great Julius Randle so we're going to be bringing you off the bench ok, Kevin?". Love starts over Randle day 1.

I wouldn't even want Kevin Love and there is zero chance he comes here as a free agent. Add Kevin Love to the team that finished the season for the Phoenix Suns and they have a worse record next year.
