Tristan Wirfs earns one of the largest guarantees for the 2025 NFL season

Tristan Wirfs is among the best players in the entire NFL, not just at his position. As a result, he is entitled to a contract that reflects that, and Jason Licht and the Bucs front office have given that to him. Now, as we head into the new league year, Tristan Wirfs is seeing just how respected and beloved he is by the Bucs organization with a large contractual guarantee.

The guarantee that was given to him has him in the top ten among all NFL players.

Over the Cap published the numbers behind the notable guarantees in the NFL, including Tristan Wirfs. Wirfs earned a whopping $26 million which is good for seventh most in the league. The only players and positions to beat him out in guarantees are quarterbacks led by Dak Prescott with $40 million.

Wirfs was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the same year that Tom Brady arrived in Tampa Bay. He has transitioned from protection the greatest player to play the position to Baker Mayfield who has seen tremendous growth behind Wirfs and the protections he is able to generate along the offensive line.
