Cardinals | Rolle still troubled by knee pain
Tue, 2 May 2006 06:35:47 -0700

Kent Somers, of the Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Cardinals CB Antrel Rolle's (knee) left knee is still causing him pain. He did some drills on the side Monday, May 1, but appeared to be walking with a slight limp at times. There is some kind of irritation in the knee, Rolle said, and he is going to see whether it improves during the week. He could undergo arthroscopic surgery to discover what's causing the problem. Rolle did call the problem minor.

Not a problem.

He hasnt had to put any real work on it yet to build back the muscles yet. So he is going to be sore and there may be some water build up issues that will go away with more work, drainage, and building back up the muscles over time.

Standard knee injury issues when you start to work it again.

He will be ready to go for camp.

Couldn't there also be some pain if he's got scar tissue building up in the wrong spot?

Even if it is minor, it underscore the fact that we are woefully thin at CB. We really need to add a veteran. Maybe after June 1?

Yes, it sounds lot like the symptoms Boldin was experiencing the last time his knee was hurt. There is good reason to be concerned.

Exactly. It kind of seems like they should just scope it right now. Is there any real downside risk to going in there and looking around? If not, they should get it figured out right now.

Still hurting does not sound very minor for a CB. Yuk!

Edge already looked at it. He says it will be fine. All he needs his some black shoes and WiFi and he will be good to go.

Tommy Knight revisited.....rolle held out of training camp for a week....played below average in three games.....got hurt for the rest of year.....came back to play against washington....got hurt again and sat out.....now he has had all this time and is still having problems....this guy has done nothing for the organization other than give off false hope....until this guy proves something to me I am going to forget he exists

Ha! I am going to make my solution to every problem be "some black shoes and WiFi".

i am not worried. that why the cardinals need to sign ty law imo. if you want the young cb to be great, you need a great cb in camp. i know it is up to the player if he wants to be great or not, but having a someone thay has been there and done that doesn' hurt eithier.
