My apologies if Murphy has already been a discussion recently. I haven't been on in ages. Seems to me that he'd be a terrific fit for the Suns. Tough rebounder with the ability to stretch the defense. He'd be a great pick and roll guy with Nash. Any idea if the Suns have explored him as an option?? Not sure what has happened in Jersey but it wasn't very long ago that he was a double-double guy. Fills a glaring void at PF. Thoughts??

Troy Murphy is a Forward/Center -- 6'11" - 245 lbs. 30 years old, who has started between 48 and 79 games in seven of his first nine seasons.

He has played in only 18 games (started 4) in this, his first season with the Nets. His career average at this time is 11.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

Does anyone know why the Nets have hardly used him since trading for him?

It sure sounds like he could help us. And I'm not saying that because he was born in the same hospital in Morristown NJ as my two sons. :)

Hey, maybe the Nets will take Robin, so if Brook fouls out, he could change his jersey, put on a wig and come back as Robin.
