the only adjustment that needed to be made for for nash and marion to stop backpeddling when their man had the ball. They didn't challenge davis ellis jackson or whoever else they were guarding until the guy got to about 15 feet away. Just put some freaking pressure on those guys. They are going to shoot no matter what. Why give them an open look. Just plain ********. Its the same crap they pulled last year. Nash looks like dirk against those guys.

I think using Skinner could have helped by reducing the fear of drivers getting into the lane. Marion was too concerned about guys driving past him and did not get up onto his man.

Doesn't it all come down to showing different looks during the season . . . for chemistry during the playoffs?

Changing Kurt Thomas' role starting in Game 2 vs. the Spurs was the right move, but it should have been established during the season.

Last minute desperation moves aren't going to prevail against NBA teams.

I really would've liked to see us go big during yesterday's game. See a lot more Skinner, Marion, and Amare on the floor, sometimes with Boris and Grant playing the two. We could have absolutely slaughtered them and I think that Nash could controlled the tempo. Absolutely atrocious effort on defense.

I think it would have helped, but realistically the Warriors were hitting a lot of tough shots. Basketball is a sport where there are nights when good teams are all but unstoppable and I fear the Warriors had that kind of night. Still, I think Skinner might have helped some.

They were definitely hitting their shots, but our defense was also very poor. D'Antoni should've seen this and slowed down the game. From the outset it looked like a track meet would favor the warriors, and after the second half it was pretty obvious.
