That meltdown was all Green!

No way a team should be able to continually march down the field on you in that manner! So much for the vaunted Defense. They sucked azz when it really mattered today! No adjustments were made to take away Johnson!

BS. It was everyone's hero, Pendergast. Rattay threw for over 400 yards. Should we have been able to hold tough? Yeah, but we're a terribly young D and crap like this will happen. We regressed today, but blaming green is silly.

No its not.

If the D coordinator isnt make the proper adjustments its the HC job to make sure it gets done. Can you tell me they couldnt tell oh say halfway through the 3rd qtr that they should have been doubling the SF TE? Yet he continued to run free? He had like 15 catches for 150+ yards for ******* TE! Thats all coaching!

Weak sauce Shane. Like anyone expects Green to run a defense. Well, I guess someone just looking to unload on the coach and try to get him run out of town would expect it.

Tell me, how fun is it to root for the team when you're just waiting to rip on the coach after any failure?

Yup its greens fault he keep McCown in there in the final minutes of 4th quarter when everyone in the world could see the trickle of pee running down his leg. Nice way to handle the blitz against a practice squad D Josh

Not weak at all! I root for this team to succeed every week with Green as its coach! But what happened today was piss poor coaching refusing to make the proper adjustments! I want Green to succeed in the worst way because I am sick of waiting on this team! But if thats how you feel I am I can live with that!

I do expect Green to run a D as headcoach you need to be adept at all areas not just one IMO!

My boy Croom? I was the one that said we should cut him and pick up the dude the eagles cut at RB and lead the preseason. Get your facts straight on me and your boy McCown aka the worst in the league. PROVEN TODAY!

As far as the pass defense goes we remain vulnerable to the short pass over the middle just as in the Rams game. It may be our zone defense. I am not sure but if I am an opposing team I keep throwing those short passes over the middle until we learn how to stop them.

The last niners TD was a great pass and a great throw. Not much defense on that play. On the tow point conversion our guy was pushed off and also fell. No way they should be able to convert two 2 pointers. Odds on that are really high. DG needs to develop a new defensive set for this type play.

Yeah ....You knew the ususal suspects are here to pile on....get a grip Shane....this Young team is guilty of playing 3 and a Half Qtrs....this should have been a win but DG will take weak abuse from ********* like you and Tango...and will still build us a winner here....You are laughable. There will be wailing and nashing of teath from half ass morons but all and all this team will learn from this humbleing road loss. They probably lost some momentum with this loss that is to be expected this season for a young team. How they bounce back after a bye week will tell us if they will fight it out the rest of the season. I love being in games this year even on the road...we will win a few....but this is still a team that is out manned....it won't be for long....and Shane and Tango.....get your shots in while you can....This coach was not to blame today....Special teams and having the D on the field so long in the second half is. You guys are comic relief

Okay, I blew it on you liking Croom. But, you blew it on calling McCown my "boy". I've never pimped him. Get your facts straight.

We have been short on RB's since the get go. It should be realized that a 35 yr old Smith is not going to make it through an entire season as the starting RB. We did not sign Hambrick until recently. We are to far out of it at this point to trade or make any significant move at RB but next season we will have to address that position. There have been several excellent RB's come available in first couple of games of the season and we should have made a move to get one in my opinion but then the good ones available probably would not have come to the Cards. It is certainly one if not the top priority in next yrs draft. With a good running game we could have run the clock down in the 4th qtr.

We will end up with a good team under this coach but you really are going to have to be patient with this group. He inherited a total mess. Oh and yeah I have the same measurables as you pal. So don't think you can throw your weight around. I think it is stupid to insenuate that crap.

My 2 cents, I don't blame game coaching for the loss, I blame Green's decision to commit to Josh so early. He could have let him compete with Blake, he could have brought in a veteran, he could have drafted Ben, he didn't. That shows an enormous amount of confidence in Josh McCown.

So why in the hell is he so afraid to turn the guy loose against such an undermanned team?

Basically the first 2 drives of the 4th quarter we let the dogs loose on offense and Josh had 71 yards and SF was so on their heels they still don't know Emmitt had the ball on the TD run. Next drive 3 runs against a defense playing pass, and then the 24 yarder to Fitz(god he's good in the air). That's essentially 100 yards passing on 2 possessions because we went vertical.

To me the game was lost in the pre game planning that apparently said let's play careful, get the lead and grind it out instead of saying this team is beat up let's knock them down, step on their necks and go for the kill shot. That's Green's reputation, he didn't have the gameplan I wanted to see.
