Well, I bombed my picks on this card. I was going for Sanchez and St. Pierre. Ugh. Talk about an uninspired fight form Sanchez! It's not that Koscheck had a great gameplan, it's just that Diego just never got into the fight. Kos is very quick, but he really didn't press either....

GSP got walloped! I thought he would utterly dominate Serra....

Huerta-Garcia was the fight of the night! Garcia took a relentless beating, but he just wouldn't go down. He was completely outclassed as a fighter, but he has some major heart and an iron chin....

Yeah it was a pretty wild fight card. I still can't believe Serra won, especially in a stand up fight.

Man, did TUF 4 just see it's importance skyrocket or what?

Never in a million years did I forsee Serra beating GSP. I predicted he'd make it an interesting fight for about 3, maybe 4 rounds because Serra's no slouch and has gone toe to toe with some of the best in the sport (BJ Penn, Karo Parisyan, et. al) but with the roll GSP has been on, I suspected that this was merely a well seasoned vet for GSP to battle and ultimately beat en route to his rubber match with Hughes.

Gotta love the unpredictability of the UFC.
