Spent too much time at the "senior bowl".

Newsflash Monti -

If a player is really good, they don't make it to their senior year.

We literally had 5 day two picks and outside of maybe Melton, used every one of them on a day 3 prospect.

I will readily admit that these picks have come as a surprise. I would have had a very different draft.

However, after looking into the players I see undeniable patterns.

Senior bowl standouts. team captains, and hyper athletes.
Monti seems to trust the coaching staff to teach. Lots of raw talent

He jumped on me for calling out the pick...I pointed out this isn't the no spoilers thread...
I have been asking everyone to not do spoilers also

Ruins it when we are all waiting to hear it be announced on the TV

Just asking for some courtesy

Thanks

I would not agree with this but I understand you are frustrated

Totally agree. It’s become the protocol for this front office. You’ll never see a Robert Nkemdiche drafted with this FO. But at the same time, you can only add so many rookie “character/Mature” guys in one draft without overlooking immediate impact 2nd and 3rd rounders

Mr Bidwill,
I humbly apply for the position of general manager for next season.
Here is my resume:

1a) Harrison
1b) Robinson
2) DeJean
3a) Beebe
3b) Amegadjie
3c) Corum

Beebe can't play in our offense. He can't You would hate him as he tried to pull and let dudes come in unblocked.

Tough *****. There is a specific thread for no spoilers...but the folks here were complaining about a commercial break.

No he’d take guys from Michigan who played 4 positions in college who doesn’t have a true position in the NFL
Who all knew Mason Cole was a terrible pick and it didn't matter. A lot of these professionals aren't that much smarter than us. Just got lucky in life with networking.
