freaks and geeks light, as d-dogg heard it described. challenge to anyone: watch it and tell me you don't love it. the last episode ("eric's pov) is so painfully good that it only further twists the knife that there were no more made. cameos by amy poehler, will farrell, ben stiller, kyle gass as well as a couple of episodes featuring martin starr, sam levine and jenna fischer (of "the office" fame). also, i think jason segal was supposed to be a really minor character at first, but he was so damn good they wrote him in much more. he's my personal favorite.

also, sidenote, a few of the episodes are out of order on the dvd. below is the note released as to the proper order.

I only remember the Will Ferrell episode, but am adding this show/series to my Blockbuster Queue (BBQ).

bump.

for all those out there going through freaks and geeks withdrawal (and i know there are a few of you), this will be like a bit of methadone so you don't have to go cold turkey. i managed to pick the series up for $10, so i've been watching them again myself. really good show, good characters.

Yep, it is from the same creators of F&G. I would give it a try for $10 for sure.

I am not really in withdrawl, but more painful acceptance right now.

sorry, not a retail shop. my husband knew a guy who basically bought every dvd ever made. he never watched them, kept them all in mint condition (they even have the original ads and stuff that come inside when you buy them), and then decided to sell them for next to nothing. i got undeclared, the first 4 seasons of sopranos for $60, the first four seasons of alias for $40, and about 10 movies for $2 each. total steal.
