Only 9 D-I teams made it through 2005 portion of the season with no losses (and one of those, Baylor, has not played a game yet).

Can any keep it up all season??

Teams

Duke
Villanova (Lost to West Virginia, 1-8)
Connecticut (Lost to Marquette, 1-3)
Florida
Illinois (Lost to Iowa, 1-7)
Ohio State (Lost to Indiana, 1-7)
Pittsburgh
Texas A&M (Lost to Pacific, 1-3)
Baylor (Lost to Texas Tech, 1-11)

Villanova/UConn
Pittsburgh/UConn
Illinois/Ohio State
Texas A&M/Baylor

All play each other during conference play.

As goes Dee Brown go the Illini.

Nice run, I still think Dee should be near the top for National POY and the Illini will be okay because of their D. But they need some other players to step up if they want to make any noise in March.

Brown misses first seven shots, scores just six points

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- For at least a day, Iowa put aside its shooting troubles.

Coming off one of its worst shooting performances under coach Steve Alford, Iowa rebounded Saturday to beat No. 6 Illinois 63-48, snapping the Illini's 15-game winning streak.

The Hawkeyes (12-4, 1-1 Big Ten) did just enough on offense. Jeff Horner had 16 points and helped Iowa take command in the second half, when the Hawkeyes scored 40 points on 53 percent shooting and 18-of-21 from the free throw line.

But it was the defense that flustered the Illini (15-1, 1-1), who were held under 50 points for the first time since Michigan State did it Feb. 11, 1999.

Nice run for the Illini while it lasted - didn't expect them to last undefeated this long. Still - ugly loss.

Baylor lost to Texas Tech, 79-61. This was Baylor's first game of the year, due to prior issues with the program.
