Montana's still the king. 4-0 in the Super Bowl and no interceptions. That's just damn impressive. However, if one expands the criteria to "post season" and not just Super Bowl, Warner is only behind Bart Starr. 102.8 rating in 13 post season games with 31 TD's. Montana had a 95.6 rating in 23 post season games.

Is that the same Joe Cool who was 8-15-98 yards 0 TDs and 2 INTs in the '86 playoff game against the Giants that NY won 49-3?

4and9ers getting beat 49-3 does have a certain irony to it.

It's the same JoeCool that took the Kansas City Chiefs to the AFC championship game.

C'mon, Montana got hurt in that game. Jeff Kemp played most of that game at QB for the 49ers. He was hurt for most of that year only starting 8 games. '86 was not the peak of Montana's career but the many years leading up to '86 and the many years after '86 were riddled with all-pro(not pro-bowl, ALL-PRO) selections, leading the league in TD's, passer rating, completion percentage, etc.

You're killing me duckjake. I HATED Montana back then and you've got me defending how great he was.

That makes twice the Giants knocked Montana out.

Weird record either won it all or went out early. Won 4 titles but was 2-5 in the post season the other years with the 4and9ers.
