Does anyone know what that shiny stuff around the neck on the new Nike uniforms is suppose to accomplish? It's starting to annoy me for whatever reason..
It's probably all Nike could get approved in terms of differences to the jerseys, and you know they had to do something.
I don't like those scribbles, either, but what I like even less is the white "collar" on some of the teams (Buffalo and Denver come to mind). It looks like they painted on a neck roll like LBs and FBs from the 80's used to wear. It's annoying as hell.

I think what Gee is talking about is different from the neck roll collar things. There are some shiny scribbles in the from of the neck on most (all?) of the jerseys--separate from the collar that goes around the back of the neck.If I'm not mistaken it's something to keep the necklines from stretching out. Butt ugly...especially some of the dark jerseys where they look like neck rolls!
