In regard to the above video, it's my recollection it was Arizona that dragged ASU into the PAC-8 in the mid-seventies, not vice versa.

See the 1:40 mark in the above video.

The YouTube video below describes it.

Don't screw this up like everything else Crow.

Fox will pay full share. ESPN unknown. But they seem to love the state of AZ, so optimistic.

Arizona is going to the B12. If ABOR wants to use all resources to delay the inevitable they can knock themselves out.
They can block it. But since Crow has said that ASU doesn’t care, no reason for the ABOR to block it.

ASU’s likely going to the Big-12, but Crow is definitely making fans sweat it out

It's not a light switch. UofA was probably further along in the process just as Colorado was before them. I don't think there's anything to sweat. I imagine there are a lot of internal things that would need to be put into motion.

Oregon and Washington going to the Big Ten has apparently lost some momentum.

At this point, just do it. Let Crow continue with his histrionics and turn ASU into a G5 school. Not at the expense of my alma mater.

It looks like your two-faced President may be afraid to go it alone.

If Robbins elects to stay in the PAC-12 at this point, he would be pissing a lot of people off, given:

~He’s told all of his coaches to be prepared to go to the Big-12
~Football recruits are already being told that they’re going to the Big-12
~The Big-12 has already voted to accept UofA
~He’s told Crow UofA is leaving the PAC-12
~Fans have told him that they want the Big-12

Something monumental would have to hav happened while I was asleep

I wonder if a network came to the table to try to stabilize this after realizing how much it was really going to cost them. Or Stanford opened up their endowment wallet. Who knows.
