You got that right. I like other parts of Alabama but Birmingham isn't worth more than a stop for gas.

Was that just for this week, or is that the permanent home? If the latter, why bother even having teams with different city names?

Edit: I guess the team names/cities are from the 1980s, but that's still really dumb. They should have just used the names/logos and not had cities if they are going to play in one place for the entire season.

I thought it was weird too but I loved seeing the old USFL logos again. That was my first taste of pro football in person--the Wranglers and Outlaws, too bad neither of those teams got the reincarnation treatment.

I just don't see how Birmingham will be able to support an entire league for a full season. You are only going to get the super die hards and the players families for most games.

Just wait...the plan is to bring back as many of the original franchise as they can - assuming the league continues on after this season.
