You could? Why don't you?

Ok, you got me on that one. It's supposed to be "couldn't care less," everyone I know says it wrong, and apparently it rubbed off on me.

Or maybe it was a subconscious way of saying that my entire world hinges on your opinion? Guess we'll never know.

Joe, you have a lot of nerve complaining about another posters bias. That takes real balls, who the hell do you think you are?
Who I think I am has nothing to do with you but since your true feeling are coming out then let it be known that I have felt the same way about you all along. I was waiting for one of your child like tantrums...and here it is.

All you do is just bash anything Laker related even when your argument is so ridiculous that you obviously can't even believe it yourself. If you think that Turiaf was trying to hurt Brewer on that play, you're completely delusional.

Um, I didn't want to do this but I have to pull your covers now. Here is what you wrote before the season started;

I'm not really sure what to think about this coming season to be honest. I don't want to see another year where the Spurs and Mavs battle for the West, while one good team steam rolls the east. Sadly, I think the Suns have missed their window and will only go backward, and with Boston becoming a monster in the east, looks like that's exactly whats going to happen. You never know, someone could be a surprise, Phoenix is far from out of it in the west. Considering Kobe will be out of LA by mid season, I don't see the Lakers winning more then 35 games, 40 tops, but we'll see. I would be happy with .500.
http://forums.azcardinals.com/showpost.php?p=350000&postcount=2

Wow, It looks like YOU are the delusional one who seems everything starts and stops with Kobe.

Here is my response to that statement:
I have to disagree with your assessment of the Lakers. I do think Kobe is gone by the new year but I think they can hold their own without him. Do you remember last season when Kobe was hurt for the first 4 games of the start of the season? They were kicking butt! They looked great and i have to admit that I was scared that they would only get better once Kobe came back.
I thought the team was better without him...crazy huh?
What I see is a hesitant team with Kobe at the helm. I think they should get rid of him and I bet you they would not lose a step. They have most pieces in place and have some young guys that have potential but I really Feel Kobe hinders the team. It looks as if they are scared to shoot for fear of Kobe getting on their case. i saw it last year after Smush took a last second shot that didn't go in and Kobe was yelling at the poor dude. In fact ,it was Phil jackson who called the play and even then Kobe lashed out. I'm telling you the Lakers don't need that much more and if they make the play-offs this year you can bet you will hear from me....
http://forums.azcardinals.com/showpost.php?p=350151&postcount=7

Oh, this was written in 10-25-2007, 02:11 PM

Who gave the Lakers more credit and who was the one who didn't have faith...in their own team? Who is delusional and a fool...looks like you just got served!!!!!
Hey Donald, this is just another example of how a so-called Laker fan that knows little about Basketball acts when the Kobe man-love kicks in.

Before you In continYou didn't look at the play, you don't care what the play was, you looked at a Laker Jersey and screamed bloody murder and you know it. I used to respect you as a poster, but now your constant bias just makes me sick. Yes, maybe Donald and I are biased in favor of the Lakers, I'll admit that, and I'll admit I defend my team, but I still show some respect for other teams like the Suns, and do my best to avoid jumping on every little rant someone has about the team. Unlike you, who sits there at your computer waiting for some shred of anything about the Lakers that you can jump on and cry like a bitch about it.

Lying sack of....

All you do is talk about Shaq and other players like I talk about Kobe but you my "short-term" memory friend go a step further and insult the poster for something you disagree with. That makes you the bitch for defending not your opinions but a player you have never met. Anyone in my book that has to post how they can't sleep before a game is a drama queen showing too much emotion for a simple game of basketball. If you need to insult a person personally because you disagree with them just proves how out of touch you are and how literally you lack people skills...even behind a computer.

Donald is completely right, you are 100% wrong, and you're a biased fool that needs to give it a rest. And Cheese, if you have a problem discussing the Lakers, don't click on this thread. Seriously, how dumb do you have to be to click on the "Utah Jazz vs LA Lakers Series" thread and not expect talk about the Lakers. I realize that years of listening to cowbells in Sac-Town has dulled your senses, but at least try and pull it together a little ok?
How dumb to you have to be to click on a Laker vs Jazz thread and not expect an opposing view of the game?
If you want to be a man and discuss a subject without insults then...never mind...you can't. You got served and you can now you can french kiss the pinky ring.

edit:

Oh, here is another thing you were wrong about:

I forsee the Lakers going into a "10 year rebuilding mode" cause they don't seem to care anymore, so maybe I'll put some love the Clippers way this season.

Right, ok Joe.. because I thought the team wouldn't be this good before the season started, that somehow makes me a homer. Whatever you say buddy, no one ever has a right to change their opinion, unless of course that person is you, then it's perfectly fine. I should have guessed our exact record, expected a championship, and predicted Kobe as MVP, anything less obviously makes me a bad person.

I could go through point by point and quote every little thing, but what good would it do? You'll still be the same hater you have always been, so why bother? If it makes you feel better to think you "served" me, then that's fine, I'll let you have your little victory, it's obviously more important to you then it is to me. Enjoy it, I'm not getting sucked into this and getting myself banned again. I'll be adding you to ignore, so you won't have to worry about it again, I'm so sick of you I could puke.

As expected, add sense to an otherwise "hate filled" rant and then they back down. That is the only way to stop a hypocrite. Why worry now about getting banned? You just about called me a bitch, delusional, fool and whatever else I forgot to mention. Those are your stripes that you can't change...it's in your DNA to do it.
Oh, and that sick feeling you have has nothing to do with me...thats how one feels after getting demoralized. Remember one thing, you can put me on ignore and i am grateful for that but it isn't me that has the problem...you react to anyone who doesn't see it your way....word!

what does Shaq or GS have to do with this game. I also remember McHale taking down Rambis when I was a kid...so what?

Dude, you are the worst arguer EVER.

Yeah, let's compare an 80s basketball play to one that happened in the CURRENT NBA around 80 days ago.

Do you understand fundamental logic, Joe?

That's his point. What does one have to do with the other. Ha ha ha. Talk about comprehension problems...

haha donald officially lost any, if any, credibility/respect that i had for him.
completely missed it.

lol @ donald.

anyway. everyone complains. we are fans of basketball. get over it.
someone will lose. someone will win. once its all over & done with, it'll be just another thing in history. big deal guys. we all have our own opinions, let try not to get too butt-hurt over everything. everything is relative.

Yep its word! Common sense and logic repel hate filled rants and baiting. Imagine a fan being so unglued over NOTHING when his team is winning in the second round. These are the same guys who ranted at suns fans for going off about the suspensions and Donaghy. They are damn near as psycho when winning if they hear a mild criticism on their boys.

It's even funnier, considering his P&R stances.

I think Joe just likes to argue. He has circular, flawed logic that he puts out as if it is solid over and over again, making it nearly impossible to debate with him.

It's fine...I have no problem with it. I think it adds fun to the otherwise boring topics. I'm absolutely baffled at the way some people think, though.

I think he likes to argue. Nothing necessarily wrong it it. I have been accused of the same thing.

Except that I was correct, and Cheesewater was not. There is a vastly different context in a play from the 80s and a play from 80 days ago. The latter is relevant as to how calls are made (and how people react) in today's NBA. No clue how that is flying past your heads, but whatever.

Classic. You obviously haven't been paying attention. Did Donald have to run and get you into this thread? I have been constantly trying to get your Laker buddy to stay on topic and not make it about the Suns. I didn't bring up the Suns. My initial post was about the latest game between the Jazz and the Lakers.

I don't have a problem. It's you Laker fans who blow a gasket when someone takes a shot at the Lakers.

Cheese, you indirectly brought the Suns into it. I didn't mention them until you said this:

Suns fans kick dirt on your gang of "almosts"

A Suns fan calling the lakers a "gang of almosts" is priceless, considering the Suns are the epitome of "almost." That's where the Suns came in. The rest wasn't even about the Suns, it was about the growing Suns fan culture of "conspiracy" and "excuses" that spills over into the way some view other games, like in this series. Since those viewpoints color a lot of the responses in threads about the Lakers, don't be shocked that those types of viewpoints are a target of ire.

"Almosts" meaning guys almost good enough to play with Kobe. Still had nothing to do with the Suns.

Here are some things you wrote:

Oh jeez...irony of irony. "Gang of almosts???" If you look that up in the ol' dictionary there is a Suns logo front and center. Almost beat the celtics. Almost beat the bulls. Almost lost to the craptastic lakers featuring Smush Parker and Kwame Brown in the first round. Almost beat the spurs if not for Stern. Almost beat the Spurs if not for TD's three pointer. Almost beat the Spurs if not for 'Antoni's coaching.

I don't remember anyone calling the 76 Finals a conspiracy or worthy of whine. Nor for the 93 Finals. Who whined and cried after beating the Lakers in the playoffs? I'll give you last year's playoffs but Suns fans are hardly alone on that. Who cried conspiracy after Duncan's three? You are trying to rationalize your vomiting attacks triggered by your blind love for the Kobes...er...Lakers.

Then there's this gem:
I think your castle built on run and gun three pointers that was given up mid-term for the lumbering, free-throw specialist Shaq joining the crew must be the best princess castle in the land. With owners and coaches infighting, and players "adjusting" to new offensive schemes and thinking of defense as a quaint little "something" that doesn't need to be played since we "won 58 games, so that's good defense" type of mantra...well, that "castle" is built on a pile of manure fertilized with arrogance and broken dreams.

I don't mind you taking shots at the Suns. But take it to the Smack Shack if you can't keep on topic with the thread. Responding to comments on the game with irrelevant trash weakens your credibility.

That wasn't the part about whining...that was the direct response to "gang of almosts." Follow along...two different things.

LOL...yeah, that coming from the guy who wrote:

What a joke. That was some seriously effed up home cooking.

Hater this and whiner that. You folks sound like a broken record of crap. It makes me laugh that it hurts your little feelings that Suns fans kick dirt on your gang of "almosts" and their Drama Princess Kobe on a Suns board. No two ways about it here, you are a blind homer if you think that game was called fair and square. But rave on, it's pretty amusing.

Or were you confused as to why I was talking about castles?

The comments were made that Kobe was faking his injury. My response said they were dumb comments, and you could see that Kobe was hurt just on his lift alone...and the trainers aren't going to be giving him days of electroshock therapy on his back muscles for the fun of it. It's idiotic and hater-filled garbage to suggest that, but it was suggested. The thread spiraled from there.

You said it was just about a culture of conspiracy and excuses. Those things don't fit.

LOL...yeah, that coming from the guy who wrote:

What I wrote fits fine here in the LAKERS/Jaz thread. Suns smack doesn't.

Sorry, when you come out and start insulting it is you that likes to argue. That's ok though, I think people here understood what I was saying and the reason you are baffled is because you just can't admit it you have the flawed logic. ;)

lakers fans,if you were playing against spurs,i would support you all the way.
but of course most suns fans are supporting utah, you didn;t expect other way, right?

but the referees give fouls easily for the lakers, maybe in their subconscious they want a celtics-lakers final too, maybe they are indirectly whispered about it,who knows.
