Dick Vitale. He said UofA did not belong in the tourney, but in the same breath said because of where they were placed they would likely be in the Sweet Sixteen rather easily.

He said that but then a few hours later changed his mind and said the Cats would lose to Wake Forest in the 2nd round.

Great win. Wise was huge, especially in the second half when he made those big baskets after Utah cut the lead a couple of times.

I wonder what Vitale, Seth Davis and even President Obama think now? Pac-10 went 5-1.

Looks like the Cats will be playing Cleveland State, who is up 15 with four minutes to go.

Digger Phelps singled out the PAC this morning as being underrated by everyone including him and suggested the Huskies, Cats and USC could go a long way in this tournament. He did not mention ASU or UCLA.

Some of that has to do with seeding/brackets.

UCLA is playing a tough Villanova team (and losing).

ASU has to play a very tough Syracuse team.

UW gets Purdue. UA gets Cleveland State - both should win. USC will lose to Michigan State

UA definitely has a size advantage with Jordan but outside of that it's basically a wash.
