Hopefully, you're a felon soon as well. Being that trashed in a car is freaking disgusting.

that said, he's rich so he'll probably get off with a slap on the hand.

Hey he threw that one block and made that one catch... That's all it takes.

Actually there are guys that have done even less than that and gotten rings.

Just remember, at some point he is going to have to deal with reality.
Cliff Stoudt spent 3 full seasons with the Stealers getting 2 rings without ever taking a snap in a game.

I hope you aren't referring to me.

I was talking to Floyd. How that wasn't obvious to you is beyond me.
I knew the second part was but I wasn't as sure about the first sentence.

All good, my mistake. Carry on.

Michael Floyd: I ended up on a team that loved me

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...hael-floyd-i-ended-up-on-a-team-that-loved-me

Over the weekend, in an appearance on ESPN radio, he explained what he meant.

"Negative random people said the most crazy things," Floyd said, via ESPN.com. "I mean, it was probably mostly Arizona people, but they just think that I'm not sorry for what I did, or I disrespected Arizona. What I say is, 'I made a mistake. I'm sorry for what I did. And I'm moving forward.' I think some people didn't want me to be successful. I think there's a lot of people out there that don't want people to succeed. You have to make the best of it, and for me, I ended up on a team that loved me and I was actually successful."

Let me translate that for everyone:

I couldn't believe it when people were mad when I got that so-called "DUI". It wasn't even my fault, they shouldn't serve wine on the team plane anyways!!! Really when you think about it, I'M THE VICTIM HERE! What I SAY,,,, is that as a soft, coddled millennial who has never been told "no" and has never been held accountable for anything in my life, I was really pissed off that people said mean things about me. I mean, who hasn't gotten so wasted that they passed out in their car at a stop light with the car in D? Did you see how mean the police were to me in that video? I was so triggered, they are so lucky that I remembered the safe space coping mechanisms my internet friends taught me. I told the Cardinals all this and they freaking released me! SO RACIST! YOU JUST ABUSED AN ATHLETE! DONT TOUCH ME!!! THE CARDINALS SEXUALLY HARASSED ME! HOW DARE YOU SIR! HOW DARE YOU!!!! WHAT IS YOUR NAME???

The only thing that amazed me was that he actually kissed the trophy as if it was such a grinding season and he helped the team win it. The smart thing would have been hold it for a bit, then pass it on. Oh wait, I said smart thing..... Guess I know why he did it now.

The reaction here is like seeing an ex girlfriend kissing another man
But who cares about Floyd?
This year he couldnt play at his level, probably the pressure of being in the contract year.
Floyd was floyd first enemy
Obviously he said immature things after superbowl, but I dont put too much attention, cause being immature is the first consequence of his bad season
He is paying and he will pay, in terms of money/contract, next season
I have no rancor for him

I wouldn't be surprised if he did it JUST to piss people off. He knew how everyone felt about things before the Super Bowl.

Question, because I don't know these things...when NE picked up Floyd, does that mean they picked up his contract & all of its perks/performance add-ons, etc? I ask because I would think maybe Floyd had bonuses written in for making it to the conference championship game/super bowl, and perhaps that was why he was sat?

I don't really care, just a curiosity thing.

I thought I saw somewhere that the Pats paid him 1 mill for the remaining games he played. Not sure if that is 100% correct though
