Sorry, isn't there just a link you could have posted for all of these?

Not trying to be mean here, but each of these images is like 60k, and you attached about 14 of them. That's almost 1mb of photos on this thread.

That counts as disk space, and bandwidth used by everyone who views these threads. Right now, for me, I just used 1mb of bandwidth just on this thread.

I think we need to limit the attachments...

Jim sometimes has to pay extra for using too much bandwidth, hence my concern, not that it bothers him too much.

Anyone see this?

Pretty amazing that this was the movie that launched the summer blockbusters, made a ton of money, but hasn't generated a lot of talk from people who have seen it.

I saw it on Saturday...if you just want to see action, monsters, fighting, and CGI effects, this is THE movie to see right now.

But the story is a little weak, and some of the writing was laughable.

Gotta love Kate Beckinsale though

Also took me about 1/3 of the movie to realize Van Helsing's little companion was Faramir from The Two Towers.

All in all, kind of a fun movie...but definitely lacked in some places.

6.5 out of 10 for me.

I saw it. It was pretty good. Saw it the first day it came out and expected a crowd but there wasn't one. It was the 4pm showing though.

I saw it yesterday and I was shocked that two weeks post release the theatre was packed.

Other than that I enjoyed the movie. I wasnt expecting Oscar performances and I wasnt dissapointed. But the special effects were top notch!

Watched it Saturday - great special effects. My only complaint is that they didn't make this a silent movie - dialog sucked - just terrible.

Ugh. Absolutely hated this movie. I started to fall asleep at the end and I didn't care. If it weren't for Kate Beckinsdale I'd have had nothing good to say.

Van Helsing - everything you hated about The Mummy series with none of the fun or humor.

I thought it was ok... I went with this girl I just started dating and she got upset at me when I said one little thing during the movie but I'm happy I said it

After Kate Beckinsale got hurt and groaned passionality for the umpteeth time I just said "man she's a loud one" did anyone notice her doing that? lol

After the movie she told me it was going to make her really selfconcious if we do more stuff together

She is a MAJOR ***** in real life, totally stuck on herself. People on sets have tried to befriend her and she just rolls her eyes at them like they are not good enough. Too bad because she is gorgeous.

That said, I liked this movie, but the ending where Van Helsing is looking up to the sky and we see the faces of her and her ancestors was corny. I liked the female vampires, they were so darn hot!!!

Recently watched it. Not one of my favorite genres, but the effects made it entertaining enough to watch once.

Hopefully Sommers can write a better story for G.I. Joe.
