LMAO....that sounds like me. I've just got DVDs laying around that I may never watch.

I probably have 600 dvds (including the 100 or so TV shows) and probably 50 of them are still in shrinkwrap.

I just purchased S1 but it is pretty low on my watch list. I may not watch this show for another month.

2 Questions...where did you get it and how much was it?

We just bought Season One for $22.99 at Target.

We've never seen it, but many people, including my Dad, rave about the show.

It was regularly priced at about $45, but it and a lot of The Left...err...West Wing seasons were at $22.99.

Stupid network. I'm looking at the last airings on my DVR:

Wed at 8 Up against Lost
Wed at 11 pm??? WTF?
Tues at 9:30. AT THE HALF HOUR??
Tues at 8
Tues at 8

Way to keep a timeslot consistent, idiots.

Same crap as Arrested Development.

I'm only about 5 eps into Season 2...not as good as the first yet, but still really good stuff. I love Veronica.

And yes, Jenna, I heart Logan too. Sis.

BIM,

Do what my wife and I did...watch it all at once if you can, or over a few days...so all the clues stay fresh in your head.

Of course, when you start watching it, you probably wont be able to stop anyways, so it wont matter :)

Yeah, I wont lie...this season has been hard to watch live...you're almost better off waiting for the Season 2 DVD's to come out...

They took a long break, can't get the time slot straight, etc...been a pain.

Thanks for the tip. I've been waiting for that to go on sale because WB has a deal where you can get a $50 rebate if you buy six sets and I have already bought five.

Was there actually a new episode on last night? I don't get UPN (and was watching the Suns anyway) so I have to download every episode. According to tv.com there was supposed to be a new episode last night but I haven't seen a torrent at any of the major sites.

Wow, season finale was great...

The wrapped up who raped her too, maybe because this could be the last season of the show...

Amazing how well done this show is, how planned out it is...

It was like 3-4 episodes ago when Veronica asked Logan "Had Duncan been with any girls before me?"...

And it was only the last episode that you realized she was trying to figure out who gave her the STD...and then it turns out to be Beaver...who raped her.

Just an amazing show...I truly hope it comes back next year.

Yeah, the finale was awesome.

I think there is some doubt about the future so they tried to tie up as many loose ends as they could while still leaving a cliffhanger (albeit a very weak one) just in case they are coming back next season.

Well, one thing I just read about and maybe it's an inside joke or tip to fans...

But when the security guard kills Aaron at the end, and calls up Duncan...Duncan says: "CW?"...and the guard says "It's a done deal."

CW is the network that UPN/WB are merging to...

Interesting?

Mike

I have 3/4 the season on my laptop from Bit Torrent, and the others on my DVR. It's hard to watch from my laptop with me having to work and all on it.

I'm hoping to bang some of these out over our Mexico trip and watch the last ones at home on the big screen recovering from the hangover.

I blinked quickly through your spoiler-ridden posts, but I did see raped and STD and am shaking my head trying to get those words out. :)

Wow, just watched Ep 16 (The Rapes of Graff) and to my wonderment, who but George Michael from Arrested Development shows up!!! And pretty much the same character. How can it get better? Oh, MAEBY if a certain cousin showed up...which she did. Seeing Maeby on there with George Michael made it a great AD shout out episode.

VM is great...6 more eps left in the season for me!!

WOW! What a wrapup to the season!

There are a lot of plotlines left open...and dammit if I am not ecstatic that my two favorite characters on the show finally stopped pussyfooting around and hooked back up.

So glad there is going to be a season 3..I hope it makes a few more after that, too.

Now hopefully they stay hooked up into next season too, because last time, they got together and then broke up all in flashbacks, lol.

They better not try and pull that card again. Nor should they try to have him arrested for his dad's death...they can't keep pulling the same cards from the deck.

Since they are going to be trying to pull in new audiences next year on the CW, I think they are going to have some amazing shows.

That finale was chock full of stuff...so much going on...and so much left undone.

I love Dick's shirt, BTW...."Trust me, I'm RICH!"

Oooh, and Jackie's backstory? Awesome....didn't see ALL of that coming...

The plane blowing up was cool as hell...shock!

BTW, this show gets SO much stuff by the censors...in the last 3-4 episodes they got in The Shocker, ************* and Motorboating. It's like the censors don't know what is going on. I love it.

The plane blowing up was perhaps the worst part of the episode...but still a good moment.

That rooftop scene was amazing...the acting all around...Beaver just walking off the edge of the roof...

The acting in the rooftop scene WAS superb.

First things first, Kristen Bell needs an Emmy, damn it. In the Rapes of Graff episode, when she's at the wig shop I love how they wrote that scene, where she says something along the lines of "time to get an Emmy" before going into the hyper-dramatic "we can't find my sister" monologue. Clever, Mr. Thomas...and yes, she deserves at least an Emmy nom.

A lot of people thought that Beaver wasn't crazy enough to be a mass killer/rapist, but I think he played the sociopath role perfectly. Quiet, unassuming and a little nervous in regular interactions. There were several small cues dropped throughout the season as to his weirdness, but very tiny. However, when confronted with it, he was cold as ice, remorseless and creepy as all hell. "And Dick still thinks I'm a virgin." Perfect delivery of a guy who would do the things he had done. I totally bought Beaver...sorry, CASSIDY.... as the evil he was. Veronica was outstanding on the roof, and it was a great touch when Cassidy asked Logan to give him a reason why he shouldn't jump, and Logan couldn't.

I havent read a post in this thread (spoilers), but it is worth noting that D-Dogg scored Season 1 and was able to watch the extended pilot. Pretty cool show so far, I want to watch the rest now. :)
